"Ding, Ding!" Christy opened her eyes. The bell woke her up.
"Chris?" Her friend Adria whispered. "You slept through the whole class."
Christy stood up. "You should have nudged me or something." She mumbled.
"Let's go." Adria took her hand and they rushed out to get in line for the bus.
They got off before their stop and ran behind the bushes of a house on the corner. They folded the top of their plaid skirts to make them shorter and took off their white button up shirts revealing their little tank tops they had on underneath. Adria pulled out a pack of cigarettes from her backpack.
They looked at eachother and nodded.
"Let's go." Adria said.
They walked to the back of the local convenience store to finish their cigarette. They finished as a an old baby blue colored Mustang pulled up with the top down.
Christy and Adria hopped in the back.
"You're late!" Adria told Drew as she put her arms around him and kissed his neck. He turned around and they started making out.
I rolled my eyes.
"How you doin', Christy?" Jeff asked.
They had met Drew and Jeff two months ago. They were college boys. It made them feel more mature being around them.
Adria pulled away from Drew and grabbed her phone. She dialed a number and paused. "Momma, I have Choir practice 'till six." She said. "Love you too." She hung up. She handed Christy the phone and she dialed her parents.
"Uh. . . Hi Daddy." She cleared her throat. "I didn't do well today in flute class. I'm having a private session with Sister Natalie after school. I should be home no later than six." She smiled and hung up the phone.
Jeff pulled up to his apartments. They all walked into his apartment.
Drew pulled a joint out a drawer in his desk. He lit it up and they passed it around.

Christy got the joint next. She put it up to her lips, inhaled long and deep. She held it in for a second, took another deep breath in, then exhaled, letting all the smoke out. She sat for a second enjoying the taste before she took another hit. "Hey! Don't hog it!" Jeff said. She passed it onto him. They sat around for a while laughing and joking before Drew and Adria ran back to his bedroom. Jeff and Christy laughed. "Hmmmm. . . wonder what they're up to?" Jeff said. "They are doing it!" Christy said, and the both laughed at how funny they thought they sounded. Christy and Jeff never hooked up. They were freinds. At least that is how Christy wanted it. Jeff on the other hand was forever trying to get together with her. "Beer?" He asked. "Oh, no thanks! I have to be home at six, remember?" Christy replied. "More for me!" Jeff exclaimed. He came back with two beers anyway, handing one to Christy. "Nother hit?" He asked. "Please!" Christy said, taking it. Jeff took one more and put it out so he and Drew would have the rest later. "Come here." Jeff said. "You look tense." Christy scooted over and let him rub her shoulders. "Long day at school. Sister Angela made us recite whole chapters from the old testement because she caught Adria and I passing a note!" Christy said, which mad Jeff burst into laughter. "Why don't you like me?" Jeff asked her. "I'm pretty hot!" Christy just laughed. "Because. I mean, I do like you. I just. . . i don't know." She stumbled. Pot always made it hard for her to think. "You should give me a chance. I'm a good guy!" He said, which caused them both to start laughing histericaly. Jeff turned Christy's head and started kissing her. This time she let him. Maybe she would give him a chance, she thought. Just then the bedroom door swung open and Adria and Drew walked out. "Time to go!" Adria said. Christy looked at the clock and it was 5:45! They would have to hurry in order to make it back home by six. "Time flies when your stoned off your ass!" Drew yelled as they all climbed into the car. They dropped Adria off first, her mom was very strict. Next they pulled up to Christy's house. "Bye guys!" She said, climbing out. Jeff grabbed her arm and swung her around, giving her a kiss. She was surprised, but in a good way. She waived and the guys drove off. When she got inside her dad was waiting. "Flute practice!?" He shouted. Shit! Busted! She thought. "I saw that through the window, you little slut! Go to your room!" Christy could smell the cheep bear on his breath already. She walked down the hall as fast as she could.
She went to her desk and started to study. She figured it would look good when her father decided to barge in yelling. It took him a while this time.
"What were you doing with those boys?" He asked.
"Oh, Daddy. It's no big deal. After my flute lessons, I went to the diner with my friend Adria. We met the guys and they gave us a ride home." She lied.
"You are to never go near those boys again. I thought you knew better than to get into a car with strangers. Those boys only want one thing from you!" He shouted.
"Oh, Daddy. Don't be silly." She said. "They were harmless."
He walked up to her and rubbed her head. The beer smell on his breath almost made her gag.
"You know I'm only lookin' out for you." He said. He looked at her work book. "You gonna be able to get all your homework done?" He said as he started to cough.
"Yeah, Daddy. I just have to go over one chapter of Math." She told him, this time not lying.
"Come make yourself a grilled cheese when you're done." He told her. He left her room.
She read most of the chapter and went to the kitchen.
"Here." Her Dad said handing her a burnt grilled cheese sandwich.
"Daddy, I'm not actually very hungry." She told him lying.
"You sure?"
"Yeah."
"You gonna watch some Jeopardy with me before bed?" He asked.
"Not tonight, Daddy. I'm pretty beat. I'll see you tomorrow." She started walking down the hall.
"You be home right after school tomorrow." He said.
She went to her room and changed into her night gown. She kneeled beside her bed and recited the prayer her grandmother taught her when she was a little girl. She decided back then, that she would recite it every night before bed.
"Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch or weep tonight,
and give your angels charge
over those who sleep. Tend your sick ones, O Lord Jesus Christ, rest your weary ones, bless your dying ones, soothe your suffering ones, pity your afflicted ones, shield your joyous ones and all for your love's sake. Amen."
She tucked herself into bed, turned off her lamp and fell asleep.
The next morning came way too fast! She woke up and rushed to get ready in time. When she was dressed and had all her things for school she walked out of her room. Her dad had fallen asleep on the couch again, and was still there snoring. There was a spilled beer on the floor next to him. She hated seeing him like this. He starting drinking right after her mom died. She was running late, but couldn't stand leaving the spilled beer there. It reminded her of her life. She went to the kitchen, got a rag, and cleaned up the mess. By the time she made it out to the bus stop it had already gone. She thought about walking to school, it wasn't too far, but decided not too. Instead she walked to Drew and Jeff's place. It was a lot closer. She didn't really feel like going to school anyway! It was 7:30 in the morning, so she was surprised when she rang the doorbell and Drew answered. "Hey, what are you doing here?" He asked her. "I missed the bus." She said. "Bummer! Come on in." He let her in and the apartment had that perminat stale smoke smell. "Can you do me a favor?" She asked Drew. "Anything." He told her. "Call the school and pretend to be my father. Say I'm sick or something." She requested. "No prob." He called the office and did a good job, they bought it. "Okay, I'm going back to bed. You can sleep on the couch if you want. The movies are under the TV. Make yourself at home." He told her. She decided to sleep for a couple hours. She woke up a little while later after having another bad dream. Not wanting to risk having another one, she put on Pulp Fiction. A few minutes later she heard someone get up. Jeff came walking out to the living room. He didn't see her at frist. Christy had to stifle a laugh as Jeff was wearing nothing but boxers, and his hair was all over the place. He had a tatoo of a thirteen on heis chest with flames coming from behind it. She didn't know he had a tatoo. She heard him pour a glass of water, and watched come out of the kitchen drinking it. He lowerd the glass and jumbed, dropping his glass of water. He screamed too! Christy just started laughing. "Christ! What the fuck are you doing here?" He asked her. "Sorry. I missed the bus." She said laughing. Jeff just walked back to his room and came back out a few minutes later wearing some jeans. She noticed he combed his hair as well. He sat down on the other side of the couch and motioned for her to come sit next to him and finish watching the movie. She curled up next to him and they laughed at the their favorite scenes in the movie.
He put his arm around her. She just looked up at him and smiled. He started to reach his hand up her shirt and she stood up quickly.
"I better call Adria." She stepped outside and called her. Her phone was off, so she left a message. She wanted to let her know where she was and why.
She walked back into the apartment. She felt very nervous. Afterall, she was a virgin and she had a feeling Jeff was trying to make a move on her. She remembered what her Father had told her the night before. Maybe he was right. She sat down on the couch leavina few inches between her and Jeff.
"Are you okay?" He asked her.
"Yeah. Just a little worried I guess. I've never skipped school before." She explained, partly lying. She hadn't skipped school before and she was worried, but worried about him making another move on her.
Drew walked out in his underwear. "I can't sleep." He told them.
"God damnit!" He shouted. "What the fuck!" He lifted his foot and looked at it.
"Oh shit." Jeff said getting up. "I dropped my glass earlier."
"So clean it up, shit!" Drew shouted.
Jeff got a rag and cleaned up the glass.
Christy giggled. She had never seen Drew in his underwear before.
"You think this is funny?" Drew yelled looking at her.
"No." She said lightly. "I'm sorry." She looked down at the ground. She thought to herself wondering why she had went there without Adria.
Drew picked up a book and threw it across the room. It made her jump. She stood up. "I'm gonna go home." She said.
"Will I see you later?" Jeff asked her.
"No, not today. I'll be over tomorrow though." She said. She left and headed home. She decided to sneak in through her bedroom window if her Dad was still home. Then, at 2:30 she would go back out her window and come in the front door.
When she arrived at her house, her Dad's truck wasn't in the driveway. She unlocked the door and walked into the house. She didn't want to touch anything. Her Dad was very good at figuring things out. She locked the door behind her and went straight to her room. She went to her computer and got online to chat. She spent a lot of her time online chatting with older guys.

Before she realized it, it was 3:00! Her father hadn't come home yet though, so she figured she would be fine. Adria called a couple hours later at 5:00. "Oh my! You missed the funniest thing today! Mrs. Clara tripped on her dress and fell over a bunch of desks, knocking all the kids over!" Adria said, laughing. Christy laughed too. Picturing a stern overwieght nun barreling through desks made a funny picture. "So, what are you doing?" She asked Christy. "Oh, nothing. I was just on-line." she told her. "Drew said you laughed at him in his underwear today. He is sensitve you know. I think he thought you were making fun of him." She said, causing them both to laugh some more. "I wasn't, it was just funny!" Christy said. She told her about Jeff. "So, why did you freak out?" she asked Christy. "Because, I don't know." Christy told her. "Your going to have sex eventually. Jeff is cool, you should just do it with him!" Adria said. "I don't know. I guess I just wasn't ready." Christy said, awkwardly. "Whatever. Well, anyway tomorrow night the guys invited us to a party, you in? We can tell our parents we are staying at Janice's house. Give them the fake phone numbers again." Adria asked her. "Um, sure." Christy said. They talke a little bit more, then had to hang up when Adrias mom started yelling at her to get off the phone. It was 7:00 and Christy's dad still wasn't home. It was a friday though, so she figured he was at the bar. Christy jumped in the shower and changed into her pajamas. She put on Moulin Rouge and fell asleep during it. She woke up when she heard her dad come barreling in the house. She heard the front door slam, and her dad knock over the tabel in the hallway. He started pounding on her door. He opened it and yelled, "You are such a stupid bitch!" Christy just sat there. She had been through this before. He dad just started laughing. "Did you do your homework?" He asked her. "Yes." She said, lying. "Good. Clean up the table. You left it in the hallway!" Her dad slurred. Christy got up and walked past her dad to get to the hallway. She stepped on his foot on her way out. He smacked her face. "Watch where your stepping!" He shouted. He had never hit her before. She started crying. "Oh no! I'm sorry. I'm sorry!" He said. "Just leave me alone!" She screamed at him. He walked to his room, fell over on the bed and started snoring. Christy was furious. She slammed her door and locked it. She then put on her flip-flops, grabbed her house keys and snuck out her window. She didn't know where she was going, she just had to get out of the house. She thought about Adria, but her mom would have killed her. So, she just decided to walk down main street. Maybe come back home in an hour after she cooled down. She hated her father. She knew he loved her, and didn't mean to do that stuff. She still hated him though. About ten minutes of walking and she heard a car pull up behind her. She turned to look and it was drew. "Get in!" He shouted at her. "What are you doing out here, in your pajamas and sandles?" He asked her. "What happened to your face!" He shouted. "Nothing." She lied. "Don't lie to me." He said. "I. . . um. . . " She couldn't say it. "I think I know." He said. "I'll kill him!" He shouted. "No! He didn't mean too!" She said, crying. He drove her to his apartment. They walked in and Jeff was on the computer. "Here again?" He asked, surprised to see Christy with Drew. "What happened to your face?" He asked, concerend. She caught Drew shake his head out of the corner of her eye, and Jeff dropped it. They set her up on the couch with a pillow and blanket, then set around a smoked a joint that they had rolled.
She fell asleep soon after. She woke up in the middle of the night and remembered she hadn't said her prayer before she went to bed. She sat up and put her hands together, just like her Grandma taught her.

"Nothing." She said embarassed.
"Are you praying?"
"No." She said. "Goodnight." She closed her eyes.
He sat down next to her and she didn't open her eyes. He put his hand on her stomach and starting rubbing it. She opened her eyes and sat up. "Do you have a cigarette?" She asked him.
He sighed. "Yeah." He got up and went to his room.
"I'm sorry." She said looking up.
He walked back up to her handing her a cigarette. She put it in her mouth and he lit it for her.
"What were you praying for?" He asked her.
"Nothing." She told him.
He looked at her and stared. "You're a good girl." He said.
"Far from it." She said.
"It's important for you to be who you are." He told her.
"This is who I am." She got frustrated.
"Nah. You're just kidding yourself." He said.
"What are you talking about?" She asked rudly.
"Don't get all worked up about it. I notice it when I observe you. You are a good girl, maybe just unhappy. . . you're trying to be bad to make it better." He said. "It won't get better unless you be yourself." He took the cigarette out of her hand.
"Hey!" She shouted.
"You're not a smoker." He said. "It's bad for you anyway."
She got up and stormed out the door.
He could not be more right about me, she thought. She didn't want to admit it though. She made it to her house and opened the front door.
"Oh, thank god." Her Dad said. He ran up to her and hugged her. "You were smoking." He said.
"I'm sorry, Daddy." She told him.
"I called Dr. Harvy. I'm going to start AA meetings, before this family falls apart." He said starting to cry.
"Okay." She said crying as well.
"Promise me you won't smoke again." He demanded in a nice way.
"I promise." She replied.
"Get to bed." He said. "Will you help me clean up tomorrow?"
She smiled and wiped her tears.
"Of course." She told him. She kneeled by her bed and said her prayer. Her Dad walked in when she finished.
"Your Grandmother's prayer." He said.
"Yes." She said.
"I didn't think you would have remembered it." He said.
"Oh. I say it every night." She told him.
"You're a good kid." He said.
"Daddy, I skipped school the other day, because I missed the bus." She confessed.
"I blame myself." He said. "We need to get this family back to normal."
"Okay." She said.
"Can I say the prayer with you tomorrow night?" He asked.
She nodded. "Sure." She said softly.
"Get to bed, it's very late. Or should I say early?" He said. I could tell he was expecting a giggle out of me, so I giggled.
He tucked me in and left leaving my door cracked a little.
I guess my prayers were working. She thought to herself. The next morning she helped her dad clean up the house. She noticed he was really quiet, but figured he was probably embarassed about the night before. "Promise me something." He told her. "Anything." She said. "We'll always be honest, okay? No more lying. For me too." He said. "I promise." She told him. "The Doc called earlier. The AA meetings are on Saturday's." He said. She just looked away. She didn't like talking about that kind of thing. "My friends are having a party. Can I go?" She asked him. "Who?" He asked. "The guy's that dropped me off the other day." She told him. "Yes." He said. She got a very confused look on her face. "They are the ones that took care of you last night, right?" He asked me. "Yeah." She said. "They can't be that bad then. So you can go. Do you need a ride?" He asked her. "No." She said. She didn't really want him to know where they lived. That afternoon they decided to go see a movie, just like when she was little. They watched Hoodwinked, it was stupid, but they both had fun. When the arrived back home she said good bye to her dad as he drove to the meeting and gave Adria a call. "Okay, we'll come pick you up!" She said. A few minutes later they were at her door. She locked up and hopped in the car. Adria and Drew talked the whole time, but she sat in the back with Jeff in silence. "I'm sorry about what I said." He told her. "It's okay. I'm sorry how I acted." She told him. "Can I see you more? I mean, not like how you probably think. I don't want to seem like a jerk. Maybe we could hang out, like on a date or something?" He asked her. "I don't know. . ." She stared to say shen he interrupted her. "We can take things slow. I just like you, thats all." He clarified. "Okay, sure." She said, smiling. The got to the house a few minutes later. No one was there yet so they all got the place ready. The fridge was stocked with beer, and the house was actually clean. People started arriving shortly after.
"Come here." Jeff said, taking Adria's hand. He took her to his bedroom.
"What's going on with Christy?" He asked her.
"I don't know."
"She was praying last night. I caught her. I don't think she belongs in this environment." He told her. "Gosh, I sound like her dad or something. You know what I mean thought, right?"
"She's fine, Jeff." She told him. She walked out of the room and back to the party. She noticed Christy sitting at the edge of the couch alone. She looked confused.
"You okay?" Adria asked her.
Christy nodded.
"Do you want a beer or something?" She asked.
"No, but thanks." She replied smiling.
"Chris, you're at a party."
"My dad's going to AA meetings now. We're being honest with eachother now and I don't want to drink or smoke pot anymore." Christy explained.
Adria grabbed her coat. "Come on." She said smiling.
"What?" She stood up.
"I'm gonna walk you home." Adria took her hand.
"Where are you going?" Jeff asked them.
"I'm gonna walk her home." Adria told him.
"Oh." He said. "I'll walk her."
"I got it." Adria demanded.
They started walking.
"Life is so complicated." Adria said.
"I know." Christy replied as she put her hands in her pockets.
"Maybe we shouldn't hang out with them anymore." Adria said.
"I was thinking the same thing."
"You wanna go to my place?" Adria offered.
"Sure."
They walked to Adria's house. Her Mom was cooking.
"Oh, hi girls." She said with a big smile on her face. "Back from the slumber party already?" Adria had forgoten her lie this time. She knew she would eventually since she did it so much.
She just nodded. "What are you making?" She asked.
"I have to go poopy." Jade said as she walked into the kitchen. Jade is Adria's little sister. She's three years old. Her mom started to dry her hands off.
"I got it." Adria said. She took Jade's hand and walked her to the bathroom.
"So, how is school?" Adria's Mom asked.
"Good." She answered smiling.
"You are welcome to stay for dinner if you'd like." She said.
"Oh. I should probably get home." Christy said. "Tell Adria I said goodnight."
"Have a good night, sweetie." She said as Christy left. She walked home. Her dad was in the living room watching Jeopardy and eating a tv dinner.
"Hi." He said. "You weren't gone very long."
"Yeah." She replied. "Everyone there was older than me, so it was boring."
"All we did in the meeting was sign some paperwork and introduce ourselves." He told her.
"Oh." She said.
"It's a start I guess." He said. "I threw away all the alcohol in the house."
"Oh, good." She sat down next to him. They sat there together, shouting out the answers and laughing when they were wrong.
When the show was over, he looked over at her. "I love you." He said.
"Love you too, Daddy."
"Need help with your homework? Sister Anna called. Said you were struggling in Math class." He said.
"Math has never been my best subject." She told him.
"It was always my best. Why don't you get your homework. See if I can help you out." He said.
"How about tomorrow?" She suggested.
"Sounds good. We'll do it over breakfast." He said standing up. He threw away his meal away.
No matter what, my dad has always made sure I did my homework. He never helped me though, so I actually didn't mind him helping me out.
"Bed time." He said. He followed her to her room and they said the prayer together. He kissed her forehead and left. She changed into a big shirt that her dad gave her when he grew out of it. She checked her emails and went to bed.
The next few weeks kind of floated by for Christy. Her dad was doing great in the AA meetings, and she was improving in school. Adria stopped hanging out with Drew and Jeff for a little while, but started up agan later. They only saw each other at school. Before the blink of any eye the school year was over. Adria decided to hang out with Christy after school to celebrate the summer before they started their Senior year. "School is OVER! Thank goodness!" Adria shouted when they walked into the door. They went back to christy's room and Adria jumped on the bed while Christy sat down on her computer. "So, what are we going to do this summer? I have my lisence now, so I can drive! When are you getting yours,anyway?" She asked Christy. They were both seventeen, so Christy was one of the few people who didn't have a lisence yet. "I don't know. When I need one, I guess!" Christy said. They sat around and goofed off for a couple hours. "Jeff keeps asking about you." Adria said out of the blue. "What? Why?" Christy asked. "Because, he liked you. He is always asking if you are doing good and stuff." She said. "Oh. That is weird." Christy said, clicking through the channels on her TV. "No it isn't! It is sweet! You should call him!" She said. "Thats okay. He was nice, but I don't know." Christy said. "Well, whatever." Adria said. She then picked up Christy's pillow and whacked her over the head with it. "OWWW!" Christy shouted, then tackled Adria and started tickling her. They then got into a huge pillow fight. "What is going on?" Christy heard her dad shout from down the hall. "Nothing dad! Adria is here!" She shouted back. "Oh! Hi Adria!" Christy's dad shouted. "Hi Mr. Rawley!" Adria shouted, then the two proceded with their pillow fight. "Oh no! look at the time!" Adria shouted. "My mom is going to kill me!" She jumped up and grabbed her things then ran out to get home on time. Christy got up to go to the bathroom, but she didn't have an toilet paper, so went to her dads bathroom. There was puddle coming from under the sink. She opened it and there was a bottle of Jack knocked over and leaking liquor everwhere.
"Daddy!" She shouted.
"What? What's wrong?" He asked as he walked up to her. He grabbed a rag and cleaned it up.
"Have you been drinking that?" She asked him.
"No. I promise. I forgot it was there." He said. She took his word for it. They were being honest with eachother a lot lately. She didn't want to think he might be lying.
"Hurry, I have to pee!" She shouted laughing.
"You're silly." He said. He walked out of the bathroom.
When she was done, she went to her room and her Dad walked in.
"Sorry about that." He apologized.
"It's okay." She replied. He sat down on her bed. "What are up to? Got anything fun planned for summer?"
"Not really. I don't have many friends or anything." She told him.
"Why don't you call your cousin's? They don't life far." He said trying to help.
"Daddy, I never even talk to them. I would feel silly."
"Don't you and Kendall email?" He asked.
"Yeah, but that's different."
"Oh okay." He said. He didn't sound convinced, but he didn't ask anything further. "I'm gonna make something to eat. I got a recipe for some good chili. Come out in a bit and have dinner with me." He smiled and left.
Christy came down the stairs a little later to find a lady sitting at the table. "Hello! You must be Christy!" She said, getting up and hugging Christy. Christy looked at her father and gave him a confused look. Who wouldn't if some strange woman was hugging them. "Christy, this is Susan. I met her at AA. She is going to have dinner with us. "Okay. Nice to meet you." Christy said. She pulled her father aside and asked, "I thought you werent supposed to hook up with other members?" She asked. "Oh, don't be silly. She is great, not like all the others." He said. "Okay. I'll take your word for it." Christy said. The sat down and Christy's dad served everyone. "This is Delisious, Bo!" Christy scrunched up her face in disgust. Her dads name was Robert, or Bob. Not Bo! After dinner Susan and 'Bo' curled on the couch to watch a movie. Christy wasn't real comfortable, she got up to leave. "I'm going to see what Adria is up too." She said, grabbing her keys and leaving. She started walking to Adria's house, but rememberd Adria saying something about going out with Drew. So, she walked down to the book store. She was scanning the Non-fiction books when someone called her name. "Christy! Over here!" She looked up to see who it was.

It was Richie Grey. He goes to the all boys school. Christy and Adria use to always go to their school and scope out the boys while they played basketball.
"Hi!" She said.
"How are you?" He asked her.
"I'm good." She smiled.
"I recomend this one." He picked up a book. It was called, Nerd in Shining Armor.
She took the book from him as he held it out to her.
"Yeah, I know. Cheesy as heck. It's funny though. You'll get a kick out of it." He explained.
"I'll get it." She said.
"See ya." He said winking.
She bought the book and brought it home.
She walked in the house and Susan was on the couch making out with her dad. They didn't see her, so she imedialty ran to her room. "That was awkward!" She whispered to herself. She laid down on her and opened up the book to read it. Inside it there was a little piece of paper on it with Richies phone number. She couldn't figure out how he managed to get it in there. She decided to pick up her phone and give him a call. "Hello?" She heard him answer. "How did you get the piece of paper in the book?" She asked him. "Magicians never tell their secrets!" He said, and she laughed. "So, what are you doing tonight?" He asked her. "Just hanging around, I was about to read when I found your paper." She told him. "Well, do you want to go see a movie, or something?" He asked her. She could tell he was kind of nervous. "Actually, that would be great. Can you pick me up?" She asked him. "Sure! I'll be there in 20." He said. "Okay, great." She said and the hung up the phone. Christy got up and changed into some Jeans and a White t-shirt. She pulled her hair up and put some perfume on. She decided to climb out her window to avoid the scene in the living room. Before she left she wrote a note to her dad telling him where she was, and left on her desk. Richie pulled up a few minutes later.

Christy got in the car.
"Drats!" He said.
"What?" She asked.
"Oh, Nothing."
She didn't say anything.
"Sorry. I tend to talk to myself a lot." He laughed and she giggled.
"What movie are we seeing?" She asked him.
"Whatever you want. I just wanted to get out of my house for once."
"Oh."
They pulled up at the theatre and got out of the car.
"I'll pay for you." He said. He got in line and she stood behind waiting.
"What the hell?!" Adria shouted. Christy turned around. They hugged.
"I'm here with Richie." Christy whispered.
"Ooooh!" Adria said. "I'm with him." She pointed. Christy looked over. It was Drew. He waved as he walked up to them.
He grabbed Adria's butt and lead her into the theatre. Adria waved to Christy.
"What's been up with her?" Drew asked Adria.
"She's trying to be good I think." She told him.
"Oh. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm going to get some popcorn." He ran up to the line. Adria followed him. He put his arm around her.
"You are really going to get it tonight. You won't even know what hit ya." He told her quietly.
Adria giggled. "Stop. Don't talk like that here."
"One large popcorn." He told the girl at the register.
"Would you like butter on that, sir?" She asked him with an annoying cheerful voice.
"Wow, you seem happy for working at a movie theatre." He said being cocky.
The poor girl just stared at him.
"Yes. Butter sounds good." He said.
"Be nice!" Adria told him. "Sorry." She told the girl.
She handed him the popcorn.
"Thank you." He told her. He paid for it and they walked into the theatre. They got perfect seats towards the middle.
"What was that about?" Richie asked walking back to Christy. "Oh, that was Adria and her Boyfriend. I used to hang out with them." She told Richie. They went into the theater and saw Drew and Adria making out. Christy and Richie decided to sit farther in the back. "So, how have you been?" Richie asked. "I've been good. Staying out of trouble." Christy said, giggling. The theater filled up pretty fast. They were watching a new horror movie that Christy had never heard of. Half way throught the movie, Christy kept jumping, so Richie put his arm around her. Christy tensed up so Richie asked. "Is that okay? You seemed scared." "Yeah, that is fine." She said. When th movie was over they got up and started walking out. They ran into Adria and Drew again on the way out. "Hey! It's you again!" Adria shouted. "You should come over again. You were fun. We have some good stuff to sm- ow!" Adria elbowed him in the stomach, and pushed him out of the theatre. "Buy!" She shouted to Christy and Richie. "What was he talking about?" Richie asked her. "Nothing. Just old stuff. Do you want to get some ice cream?" She asked.

They got in the car and drove to the Dave's Ice Cream Shop.
"You're kidding me!" Christy said. Adria and Drew were inside in line for ice cream. "How weird."
"How funny." Richie said looking at them. "He touches her butt a lot it seems like."
Christy giggled. They got out of the car and went inside.
"No fucking way!" Adria shouted. Christy looked at Richie and he made a weird face.
"Way!" Richie said joking. Adria and Drew looked at him like he was crazy. Christy laughed.
"Why don't you two come on over?" Drew invited.
"Oh, no. That's okay." Christy said.
"We can." Richie said. "I've got no plans."
"So it's settled. We'll see you there." Drew said. He grabbed Adria's hand and they left. He pinched her butt as he opened the car door for her.
"Stop it!" She said laughing.
"You like it." He said shutting the door. He got in the car.
"So, is he a momma's boy or some shit?" He asked her. He started the car and headed to his place.
"I don't know." She said. "I don't really know him."
They got to the apartment and Adria tried to tidy it up a little.
"Hey." Christy said walking in. She was a little nervous. She didn't want Drew to embarass her. And she was affraid that Jeff was there.
"Beer?" Drew asked Richie as he put held up a beer.
Richie put his hand out. "Oh, no thanks."
Drew gave him a weird look. "You don't drink?"
"Nope. Never have." He said.
"Okay. . ." Drew said as if he was stupid. Drew looked at Christy.
"No thanks." She told him.
Adria took the beer out of his hand. He left and came back with a joint. He sat down and lit it up.
"Do I dare offer?" He asked Richie.
"Uh. . . I don't smoke marajuana." Richie said.
"Are you like a good little church boy?" Drew asked him.
"Shut up, Drew." Adria said hitting him.
"You're a cake boy, aren't you?" Drew asked rudly.
"A what?" Richie asked.
"I think we should go." Christy said. She stood up and so did Richie.
"Is that a yes?" Drew asked.
"I don't know what you're saying." Richie answered.
"He is! He's a fucking cake boy!" Drew said loudly laughing.
"Shut the hell up!" Adria said. She pushed Drew.
Christy glared at Drew, took Richie's hand and led him out the door.
"I am so sorry." Christy told Richie.
"I don't know what he was talking about." Richie said.
"Neither do I." Christy lied.
"I'm not sure we are fit for eachother." He told her.
"What do you mean?"
"I don't do any of that stuff." He said. "I don't party. I have a glass of wine here and there, but that's it. Sometimes I will get a little tipsy. I enjoy that, but I don't drink beer and get wasted."
"You've got the wrong idea! I don't either. I used too, but that was a long time ago!" Christy pleaded. "Whatever." Richie got into his car and drove away. "Jerk!" She said out loud. She stared walking home and saw Jeff pulling into the space near the apartment. "Oh great!" She said out loud. "Christy? What are you doing here?" He asked her. "Long story!" She shouted and kept walking. "What's up?" He asked, following her. "Hey, I'll give you a ride!" He shouted. Christy finally stopped. "Okay." They got into his car and he drove her to her house. Susan's car was still out front. "Can we hang out for a little bit? My dad has someone over, and i don't want to take a chance and um. . . " She started to say. "Sure. We'll go to the park. I could use some fresh air anyway. They got to the park and walked towards the playground. "Is everything okay?" Jeff asked her. "How do you stand Drew? He can be such a jerk, and you are so nice." Christy asked. "What did he do?" Jeff asked her. She told him what happened. "Shit! I'm sorry. That guy Richie must have been kind of a jerk though, not to believe you. I'm not letting Drew off the hook though." He said. They walked over to the the merry-go-round and laid down on it. "I don't know what I'm doing." Christy said out loud. "What do you mean?" Jeff asked her. "My mom died a few years ago, and I feel like. . . I don't know. Like nothing fits. I didn't fit with you and Drew, but I had fun. I love my dad, but things get weird now. I aparently don't fit in with the goody crowd either. I'm sorry." She said. "No, don't be sorry. I think it is good you stopped hanging around us. I mean, I miss having you around, but Drew is not the greatest influence. It kills me to see Adria with him. You'll find your spot." He told her, and held her hand. She let him do it. After a little while Jeff asked, "I should probably get you back home, shouldn't I?" "Yeah, probably. I'll just climb back through my window." Christy answered. "Will you kiss me?" She asked Jeff. "No." He said. Christy got a tear in her eye. "I want to, but you need someone better." He told her, and stood up, helping her up. "Your a better person than you think." Christy told him, and walked ahead of him. Jeff stood there for a moment. "Are you okay?" Christy asked, turning around to see why Jeff wasn't coming. "No one has said that before." He said. He walked up to her and gave her a big hug, and kissed her lips. Christy melted in his arms.
"Sorry." He said backing up. They got in the car and he dropped her off. She snuck into her window. A few minutes later, her dad was knocking on her door. "Someone is here to see you." He said.
She walked out to the living room and Richie was standing there.
"I want to apoligize." He said. She thought it was weird that he was saying this in front of her Dad.
"Come here." She said signaling him to follow her. He followed her to her room. She shut the door.
"Sorry. I didn't mean what I said. Being around that kind of thing scares me a little." He told her.
"It's okay. I shouldn't have let you go there." She said.
"It was my fault. No hard feelings, right?"
She nodded smiling. She found him so attractive. She wondered if he was a very interesting person. He dressed like a skater and apparently he was a good guy. She decided to give him a chance.
"Can I show you something?" He asked her pointing at the computer. "There is this really funny website."
"Sure." She smiled.
He sat down at her desk and went to a website. "This one is great." He pushed play. It was a prank call. Christy and Richie died laughing.
"Oh my gosh!" She said laughing.
He played another one that Christy found even funnier. She started jumping up and down. "I have to pee!" She said. She went running to the bathroom. She was laughing the whole time.
"Didn't think I'd get you laughin that hard." He told her as she walked back into the room.
"That was so funny." She told him.
"Well, I guess I should go." He stood up. He held his arms out waiting for a hug. She hugged him.
"Sorry again." He told her. He looked down at her. "Your eyes are so beautiful." He said smiling really big.
"Thank you."
"Would it be okay if I kissed you?" He asked.
Christy felt daring and nodded. He kissed her. They stood there kissing for a long time until her dad knocked on the door.
"Sorry." She whispered to him.
He sat down at the computer.
"Come in, Daddy." She said. Her Dad walked into the room. "You should get to bed soon." He told her.
"I was just about to head home." Richie said standing up.
"Daddy, this is Richie." She said. They shook hands. "Nice meeting you." Richie said. "See you later, Christy." He walked out of the room. Her Dad sat down on her bed. "Do you like this boy?"
"I think so. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders." She said. "Oh gosh, I sound like you." She laughed.
"That is something I say." He said. They laughed. "Honey, I know I'm not a women. Do we need to have the sex talk?"
"Daddy!" She said laughing.
He smiled. "Let me know if you ever have any questions, okay?"
She nodded. "Yeah, Daddy."
Her dad left and burst into laughter. The sex talk from her father just seemed insane! She went to bed in a good mood. The next morning her phone rang. It was Richie. "Hey. I wanted to know if you wanted to go four wheeling with me and some friends of mine." He said. "Yeah! That sounds great!" Christy said excitedly. She did really like Richie. She got ready and Richie picked her up an hour later. Her dad seemed to like him too, which made her feel even better about him.
They had a really great time. Afterwards, she went to Richie's house with him. His house was very nice. She felt safe there.
"Do you want a glass of water?" He asked.
"Sure." She smiled.
He poured two glasses of water and handed her one.
"Do you mind if I take a quick shower?" He asked.
"Oh. No, that's fine." She said.
"Follow me."
She followed him into his bedroom. It was a little messy, but not too bad. He had a lot of stuff thrown on his desk and on his night stand, there was an alarm clock and a bible. She sat down on his bed.
"I'll be right back. You can get online or something if you want." He said. He turned on his computer. "Or watch tv, or play Nintendo." He pointed out his games.
"Thanks." She said. He left the room and closed the door. She got up and looked around. She was nosey when it came to peoples bedrooms. She loved looking at the things they had. She looked at his bookshelf. He had a lot of different kinds of books. He had a lot of movies too. His closet was open, so she walked up to it to see what he had in there. He had a lot of nice shirts and pants hanging up. She saw a playboy magazine on the floor.
"Oh my!" She said out loud giggling. "Typical."
She giggled again. He opened the door and walked in. She turned around really quick.
"Hey." He said to her. She smiled and tried not to laugh. She looked at him and he was wearing just a towel. His hair was wet, messy and water was dripping down from it. He was thin, but a little built. He opened his drawer and grabbed some clothes. "I'll be right back." As he was walking by his closet, he closed it. "It's a little messy in there."
She giggled. "Mine's worse." Is all she could say. He left the room and was back within a minute.
"So." He said.
She started laughing and couldn't stop.
"What?" He asked her confused.
"I saw your magazine." She told him.
His face turned red. "What magazine?" He was smiling.
"Don't play dumb with me." She said. She hugged him.
"I think this is the first time I've ever been embarassed in my life." He told her.
She laughed. "It's okay. Seriously."
"Do you want me to throw it away?" He asked.
"No, but if your Mom goes in your room at all, ya might want to put it in your drawer or something." She advised him.
He laughed. "Yeah, good idea."
"Your so cute! Don't be so embarassed." She said to him. "I can't help it. So, did you have fun?" He asked her. "Yeah, I did! I can't believe I actuall drove one! I've never done anything like that. It was so much fun!" She said excitedly. "What is that?" He asked, pointing to her necklace. "Oh, that is St. Christopher. My grandmother gave this too me a long time ago." She said, taking it off to show Richie. "I like it. You should put it back on." He said, handing it back. "I had a lot of fun too. I would like to see you more. If. . um. . thats okay with you." He said, shyly. "I would really like that. You're the first guy I've met who has been so sweet." She said, and kissed him on the cheek. He blushed even more. "Do you want to go for a walk in the park?" He asked. "Sure! I would love that!" She said. "It doesn't seem too cheesey?"
"No! Of course not. It is sweet." She said. They both stood up and she tripped over a CD case and fell back on the bed. "Sorry!" He shouted, picking up the CD and putting it on his night stand. "The Hippos?" She asked. "Oh yeah, they are this-" He said before she cut him off. "I love them! We'll have to compare music sometime!" She said, and the got up and left. They got to the park and walked around the bike trail holding hands.

"Oh gosh." She said thinking. "I guess smoke pot."
"I've never had the desire to try that."

"What's the worst thing you've done?" She asked.
He laughed. "You saw the magazine. . ."
"Oh come on, that's normal." She told him. "Besides that."
"I. . ." He thought for a minute. "I took a cigarette once from my Grandpa, then I snuck out to the backyard and tried smoking it." He laughed. "Didn't work out so well."
They both laughed.
"Did you get caught?" She asked.
"Oh no, I didn't get caught or anything. It just sucked. It made me caugh like crazy." He told her.
"Have you dated much?"
"Uh, I've dated a few girls." He said.
She nodded. "I've never really dated anyone for very long."
"None of them got serious." He said. He pulled his hand away from hers and scratched his head with it. "This is crazy."
"What is?" She asked him.
"That I'm totally falling for you. It's only been like a week."
She smiled. "Aw!"
"Have you. . . um." He started to ask.
"What?"
"Nevermind."
"Come on, you can ask me anything." She assured him.
"Sorry. I just keep thinking about sex." He said. "Sorry."
She laughed. "I think everyone thinks about sex."
"I mean with you." He said. He sat down on a swing.
"You're cute." She told him. She stood in front of him holding the chains. She leaned over and started kissed him. She looked up at the sky. "It's so nice out." She smiled and looked down. Richie was staring at her boobs. He looked up right away. She laughed.
"What?" He asked.
"Nothing." She didn't want to embarass him.
"Have you done it before?" He asked.
She shook her head. "Nope. You?"
"No." He said. "Never really met a girl I felt that connected to."
"Me neither." She said. "A guy I mean."
"Until now." He said. He smiled and looked at the ground.
"We'll see." She said laughing. He looked away. "That was a joke!" She said, and he laughed. "You like me though, right?" He asked. "Of course! You are so sweet. I've never been treated better!" She said. "Really?" He asked. "Yeah. Let's not get into it." She said, and they dropped the subject. "So, what do you do for fun?" She asked him. "I love the arcade. I listen to a lot of music too. I like to skate with my friends too. Oh, and I can play the guitar. . . sort of." He said. "That's neat! I don't do much. I stopped hanging out with my old friends, so I mostly go online or do homework." she told him. "So, you want to do something tonight?" He asked her. "Sure! What did you have in mind?" She asked him. "My parents are away for the weekend, we could watch a movie or hang out." He said. Christy laughed. "No, seriously! I wont take advantage of you, I promise!" He said, and they both started laughing. "I think that sounds like fun!" She said. "Do you wanna hit the arcade first? I'm killer at lazer tag!" She shouted, and the walked back to the car.
They went to the arcade at the mall. It was huge. He showed her how to play Mortal Combat. She didn't pick up on it very well, so she went and played Ms. Pacman while he finished his game.
"You winning?" He asked her walking up.
"No!" She shouted laughing. "I suck!"
When she died in the game, they played Air Hockey. He won. They played a couple more games and decided to go back to his place.
"I had a really good time today." She told him as he unlocked the door.
"Me too." He said. They walked inside and sat down on the couch.
"Do you want to watch a movie or something?" Richie asked. "Um, sure! What do you have?" Christy asked. Richie listed off a bunch of movies before he got to clerks. "Oh! I love that movie! Let's watch that." She said. Richie put the movie in and sat on the other end of the couch. "Can I sit with you?" Christy asked. "Of course!" Richie said, very enthusiasticly, which made Christy laugh. "What?" he asked. "Nothing." She said, and curled up next to her. He put his arm around her and they watched the movie. They laughed the whole time. "Can I use your bathroom?" Christy asked when the movie was over. "Oh! Sure. Sorry. It is down the hall on the left." He said. "Okay, thanks." When she got back Richie was in the kitchen grabbing a couple Sodas. "You hungry?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm starving!" Christy said. "Good, because I ordered us a pizza. It should be here soon." he said. They sat around and talked untill the pizza got there. When they were done eating they decided to go listen to music in Richies room. "I have this great band I want you to listen too!" He said. They went back to his room and Christy sat on the bed while Richie put on the music. "Oh! I've heard of these guys! They are awsome! What is there name?" Christy asked. "This is Smashing Right." He told her. "Thats right! I remember now. I like them." Richie came and sat next to her on the bed. "What is that?" She asked pointing to a notebook sitting on the table. "Nothing. I like to write." He said. "That is neat." Christy said. "Can I kiss you? Or is that horrible to ask?" Richie asked her. "Yes, and no, it isn't bad to ask." She said, and he leaned over and kissed her.

They kissed for a long time and eventaully they were laying down on the bed. After a while, he stopped kissing her and sat up.
"What's wrong?" She asked him.
"Just didn't want it to end up going too far." He told her. "I'm sorry, I was getting into it a little too much."
"Oh." She said with dissapointment.
He stood up. "I have to go to the bathroom." He left the room.
"Oh my!" Christy said to herself with a big smile on her face. She just layed there on the bed waiting for him. He didn't get back for fifteen minutes.
"Sorry." He said. "I. . . um."
She giggled thinking of the few things she thought he could have been doing.
"No biggie." She said.
He was being all fidgety. He started looking through his cd's.
"Maybe I should get going." She said standing up.
"You don't have to." He said.
"Well, it's getting late." She said.
"I'm sorry." He said.
"For what?"
He scratched head. "I don't know." He giggled.
"Are you okay?" She asked him. She walked up to him.
He took a deep breath and put his hands on his hips. "Yeah. Sorry."
"Why do you keep apologizing?" She said pinching his stomach lightly. He jumped back. "Whoa." He said.
She laughed. "What is wrong?"
He just laughed. "Nothing."
She pinched his stomach again and he backed up more.
"Why are you acting weird?" She asked.
"I'm not." He said.
She walked up to him and put her arms around his waist. She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.
"What are you doin' to me?" He asked. "You're driving me crazy."
She looked up at him laughing.
"Oh I get it now." She said. Her eyes got big. "You are craving the Christy and you can't help yourself."
He laughed. "You're weird."
"Whatever, horny." She said. He started blushing.
"Shut up, I'm not horny." He told her.
"Bull!" She shouted laughing.
He put his arms around her and started kissing her.
"So maybe I am." He whispered.
They both laughed. Christy couldn't stop laughing. She sat down on the bed.
"It's not that funny." He said.
"Yeah it is!" She said trying to contain herself. "I'm sorry, I'm totally ruining this great moment."
"Shut up." He said. He ran over to her and jumped on the bed. She screamed.
He knocked her onto the floor. "I'm SO sorry!" He said. She couldn't stop laughing. "It's. .. okay. . . " she said bewtween burst of giggles. Richie got up and helped her up onto the bed. "My sides hurt from laughing." Christy said, whiping tears from here eyes. She laid down flat on her back and took a deep breath to try to stop laughing. "Was it that funny?" He asked. "You bet it was!" she said. He just laughed at her. He laid down next to her. "I'm not being a total loser, am I?" He asked her. "Not as much as me!" Christy said. She looked over and smiled at him, and he started kissing her agian. She reached over and started undoing his pants. He stoped kissing her. "I'm sorry." She said. "Do you want too?" He whispered. "Yes, I do." She whispered back. They started kissing again, and she let him take off her shirt. She helped him with her bra, and he just stared at her boobs. It made her laugh. She put his hand on her boob, and started kissing him again.
She took his pants off as far as she could and took them off the rest of the way with her feet.
"Sure you havn't done this before?" He asked giggling.
She laughed. "Shut up and kiss me."
"YES MA'AM!" He said laughing.
As she took off his shirt, it got stuck on his neck. They both laughed. He took it off the rest of the way.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked as if he needed the reassurance.
"Positive. Now don't ask again." She said.
"Wow you are demanding." He told her.
"That's right now grab my ass!" She shouted laughing.
"Wow!" He said.
"I'm just kidding." She said.
They both giggled.
He kissed her neck and she moaned. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yes! I was just enjoying myself!" She said, and he started kissing her again. When they were undressed they laid there kissing for a while. Finally, Christy sat up and climbed on top of him. He looked scared. "Are you okay?" She asked him. "Yeah." He sqeeked.
She smiled.
"Wow." He said.
"What?" She stopped moving.
"Nothing, sorry."
She lifted herself up a little.
"Whoa, stay like that." He whispered and closed his eyes. She giggled. "Okay."
After a few minutes past, she layed down on top of him.
"Will you be on top?" She asked shyly.
He opened his eyes and smiled. He grabbed her and kissed her. He eventually rolled her over so he was on top.
He was holding himself up by his arms, and they were shaking. Christy pulled him closer to her, so he was laying completely on top of her instead. "It's okay." She whispered in his ear. And that was it. The waiting and playing games between the two of them were over. "Ahh...aah." Was the only noise Christy made. "Are you okay?" Richie asked her. "Yes. yes." She said. Richie continued, and Christy arched her back. He finished and they laid there for several minutes. Richie got up, dressed and helped Christy look for her clothes. She got dressed and ran to the bathroom. She closed the door and started tearing up. She splashed her face with cold water and smiled. She hadn't regreted anything, she was just a little emotional. Once her eyes cleared up she went back to Richies room. He was sitting on the bed writing in his notebook.

She wanted to ask him if she could read it, but she figured he probably wrote his private thoughts in there. She didn't want to be THAT nosey!
"I think I better get going." She told him. "Don't want my Dad calling the cops or something."
He put his pencil and notebook down. He walked up to her and hugged her tightly. He buried his face in her neck. She hugged him back.
He looked down at her and smiled. She smiled back.
"I'll call you?" He asked her.
"I hope so." She said quietly.
"Definatly. I'll talk to you tomorrow." He told her. He winked and went back to writing in his notebook. She started walking out of his room.
"Crap, wait. Sorry. I'll walk you home." He said. He took her hand and walked her to her house. They were quiet the whole walk.
"See ya." He said as they approached the house. He squeezed her hand and let go.
She smiled and went into her house. Her Dad was watching Jeopardy.
"Late night, hu?" He said as she walked up to him.
"Yeah. I lost track of time." She told him.
He gave her a look like he knew something was up, but he let it go.
"I'm gonna go to bed." She told him.
"Okay. Night, pumpkin." He told her.
G'night, Daddy." She smiled very big and went to her bedroom. She layed down on her bed, then jumped up to call Adria.
"Hello?" Adria mumbled.
"Addy, I'm a women." She whispered.
"WHAT?!" Adria shouted.
Christy squeeled.
"Holy, shit!" Adria said. "Who? When? Where. . .?"
Christy laughed. "Richie, like an hour ago and at his house on his bed."
"Awesome!" She said. "Gosh I was asleep, you really woke me up!"
They both laughed.
"Call me tomorrow so we can talk all about it." Adria told her. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
Christy plopped herself onto her bed and just layed there staring at the ceiling with a giant grin on her face.
She couldn't sleep so she got up and went to her computer. There was no one on, so picked up her sketch pad and her pencils. She sat on her bed and opened up her pad. She hadn't drawn in it since before her mom died. She flipped to a blank page and started drawing. She started feeling sleepy, so she put the sketch pad on her bed and layed down on her stomach to draw. She dozed off in the middle of drawing. The next morning she woke up to her phone ringing.
She picked it up.
"Can I come over?" Aria yelled with excitment.
"I guess." She mumbled.
"Shit, did I wake you?" Adria asked her.
"Yeah. That's okay though."
"I'll be over in a couple hours." Adria told her. "Bye!" They both hung up. Christy stretched and yawned. She layed there for a second and then got up to take a shower. After her shower, she went to her room and threw on a sun dress. She went to the kitchen and her dad was making eggs and bacon.
"Mornin' sweetheart." He told her.
"Good Morning, Daddy."
"I havn't burnt anything yet." He told her laughing.
She giggled. "The I just might try it out."
Breakfast was great! Christy was so proud of her Dad! She gave him a hug. She could tell she really made his day. She made him leave the kitchen promising she would clean up. She washed all the dishes and countertops. As soon as she finished, Adria walked in. She was smiling. Christy rolled her eyes and went to her room. Adria followed.
"So?" Adria said.
"What?"
"I want all the details!" She said excited.
Adria couldn't help but laugh. "It isn't that funny!" Christy said laughing. "Okay, maybe it is. He was so sweet though!" Christy told her. "That is so crazy! Who would have thought you and Richie? What happened to his good-boy-church-boy attitude?" Adria asked. "What do you mean?" Christy asked. "I don't know. It just weems weird, thats all." Adria said. "That is silly. We both really like each other, and I'm sure he feels as good about it as I do!" Christy said. Just then her phone rang. "Hello?" she answerd. "Hi, Christy. It's Richie."
"Oh, hi!" She said.
"Hey, some of my friends are throwing a little party. Nothing crazy or anything, just a bunch of us getting together. Do you want to come?" He asked. "Sure! Can Adria come?" she asked him. "Um. . . sure." he said. "I'll pick you up at 8:00." He told her, and they hung up. "What's going on?" Adria asked. Christy told her about the psuedo party and Adria got excited.
They played a couple of games and went to the local diner for lunch. When they were done with lunch, they went back to Christy's house to watch a couple movies. They both fell asleep on the couch during Pretty Women. When they woke up, it was seven. Adria went home to get ready for the party. Christy did her make up and straightened her hair so it would look pretty down. She put on a jean skirt and her dark purple tank top. Adria got there just as Richie pulled up at the house. They got in the car. Christy sat up front.
"You girls look nice." He said. He put his hand on Christy's leg and left it there until they got to the party. They walked into the house and there were a lot of people there. Some of the girls were drinking wine coolers and a few guys had beers. It didn't take Adria long to find the beer.
"You can have one." Richie told Christy.
"Oh, no. I'm fine." She told him smiling.
"I'm only having one." Adria said.
They sat down on the couch in the front room.
Six beers later Adria was Playing pool, quite badly with a guy she thought was cute. Richie and Christy sat on the couch laughing and talking. "Hi Richie!" A guy said walking up to them. "Hi Mark! This is Kylie." Richies said. "Oh! HI!" Mark said and vigerously spook Christy's hand. SHe new Richie must have told him what they did. She just smiled at Mark. "Do you want a beer?" Mark asked them. "No thanks, I don't drink." Christy said. "I'll pass too." Richie told mark. "We're playing cards in the den, you two should join us." Mark said, and left. After a little while Richie and Christy decided that might be fun and Went to the den. The passed by the game room on the way and stopped long enough to watch Adria fall on her butt when she tried to make a pool shot. They both laughed and kept walking.
They made their way to the den.
"Yo." Mark said. Some of the guys were smoking cigars.
"What are you guys playing?" Richie asked them. "What's up, man?" A guy said.
"Everybody, this is Christy." He told them. They all said hi.
She just smiled.
"We're playin' rummy. You want to join?" A guy asked.
"Christy, this is John, Donald, Chris, Derrick, Roger, Ryan and Matt." Richie told her as he pointed at each of them. "And you met Mark."
"Yup." She said smiling. She had a feeling he had told most of them that they had slept together. They all seemed way to pleased to meet her.
"I'll sit out. I've never played that before." She told them.
"Then you're going to learn." Matt said.
"Oh. No, seriously." She said. "I'm gonna sit out."
"You sure?" Richie asked her as he sat down.
"Yeah." She walked behind him and leaned up against the back of his chair.
She watched them play a couple games.
"You wanna get going?" Richie asked her. "See if we can get Adria out of here?"
"Sure." She replied.
They said goodbye to everyone.
"Addy?" Christy said as she walked up to her.
"Yes?" She asked making a weird face.
Christy laughed. "Ready to go?"
"Sure." Adria said. "One second."
She walked up to some guy and whispered something to him.
"That's my cousin, Craig." Richie pointed out.
Adria kissed the guy on the cheek and walked back up to us.
"We had sex." She told them. She started walking out of the room.
Richie started to look angry. He walked up to Craig.
"You had sex with Adria?" He asked him with anger.
"Yeah, so." Craig said.
"You're an idiot." Richie told him.
"So, you boned her!" He said pointing at Christy.
"Okay, did you tell EVERYONE?" Christy asked Richie with frustration.
"He sure did!" Craig shouted as he walked out of the room.
Christy walked out to the front where Adria was.
"Let's go." Richie told them. He walked out of the house and the girls followed him. They all got in the car.
"Turn it up!" Adria said as she started to sing along to some stupid pop song.
"That is so humiliating to me that you told so many people." Christy told him.
"I'm sorry. I didn't tell that many people. It's just that the people I told, told more people." He told her. "I was going to see if you wanted to stay over. Is that out of the question?"
"Yes it is." She told him.
He sighed loudly and cleared his throat.
"TURN IT UP!" Adria shouted. Richie turned the music up really loud. He dropped them off at Christy's house and drove off. He didn't even say goodbye. Christy took Adria into her bedroom and layed her down on her bed. She past out right away.
Christy was afraid to sleep in the bed with a drunk Adria, so she went on line for a while to see if anyone was on. Then she figured she would just sleep on the floor. She laid there for a while, but kept thinking about Richie. She had only told Adria, and was only planning to tell her. She figured she would wait to see if Richie would call to apologize. Eventually she dozed off.
When she woke up in the morning, Adria had already left. She got up and took a shower. When she got back to her room, she had a text message on her phone from Richie that read,
Sorry about last night. Give me a call when you get up.
She debated for a few minutes and decided to call him.
"Hi." She said.
"Hey."
"I guess I can be okay with you telling everyone. You were probably just excited." She said trying to sound understanding.
"Sorry."
"It's okay." She told him.
"Do you want to come over?" He asked her.
"Yes." She said. She hung up, got dressed, did her hair and makeup, then walked over to his house.
"Hi!" She said as he answered the door. He gave her a hug and they went to his bedroom.
"I realy am sorry." He said again. "It's okay. I'm sorry I got so upset and all." She said to him. "How is Adria?" He asked. "She is okay. She was gone when I woke up this morning." Christy answered. "Isn't she dating that one guy?" He asked, refering to Drew. "Yeah, I think so. I don't know what her deal was last night." she said. "So, what do you want to do today?" He asked Christy.
"I don't know." She said.
"I can't be in a room alone with you without thinking impure thoughts." He said looking nervous.
She laughed. "Yeah, I can't be alone with you without thinking like that either."
He stared at her.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing."
"You are hoping for more love from the Christy, aren't you?" She said giggling.
He blushed. "Be quiet."
"It's true! You can't get enough of the Christy!" She said, sanding up and shacking her butt at him. He started laughing. "Lets dance!" Christy shouted, and turned on his sterio. The beastie boys came on and she started singing along to "Girls". He just laughed at her. "Come on!" She yelled at him, pullin him up. The started dancing, or flailing, everywehere and singing along. After the next song Richie turned the stero down. "Too much fun for you?" Christy asked. Richie grabbed Christy's arm and flung her on the bed. Except she missed, and fell right on the floor.
They both laughed. She got up and layed on the bed. He jumped on top of her smiling. He ran his fingers through her hair.
"You are so beautiful." He said looking up and down.
"Thank you." She smiled.
She took off his shirt and lightly ran her fingers up and down his back. He started kissing her neck.
He started taking off her shirt. "Are you going to stare at my boobs again?" She asked laughing. "Maybe." He said. She let him finish taking off her shirt. She started taking off his pants. "Um. . ." "What?" He asked. "Um. . . Ninja Turtle boxers?" She said laughing. "Sexy, huh?" he said, and sat up, put his hands behind his head and started doing a lap dance. "Stop!" She said laughing.
"Let's be serious this time." She told him.
"Sorry."
"It's okay." She whispered. He layed back down and they started kissing. He rolled over so she was on top of him. He unsnapped her bra. They heard someone come into the house. She looked up.
"It's just my parents." He whispered. "My door is locked."
"Honey?" His Mom said.
"Shh." He told Christy.
"Hi, Mom!" He shouted.
"Come here, I missed my son! I want a hug!" She yelled happily.
He took off his boxers. "Come on." He said.
"We can't do this." She whispered.
"Yeah we can." He said softly back to her.
"Fine, hurry up." She said.
"Come here! I miss my shnookems!" There was a knock on the door. "I'll hide under the bed. Just do what you have to do and come back!"
She told richie, and climbed under his bed. It was actually clean! Richie put his clothes back on and Opened the door. He tried to walk out, but his mom pushed her way in. She was a big lady, and sat down on the bed, Christy held her breath. She looked over and saw her bra on the floor. "Your father and I got you so many things!" She had a kind of high pitched voice. Christy slowly reached her hand out to grab the bra. She had it in her hand and started pulling it back when Richie's mom stood up, stepping on her hand. She aparently didn't notice, so Christy held her breath, and tried not to scream out. "Thanks mom. I was writing, can I come down in a little bit?" Richie asked. "SURE!" Finally, his mom got off her hand, and she pulled it back under the bed with her bra. Richie had to push his mom out the door, and he locked it. "You can come out now." He said to Christy. "Oh my GOD! my hand!" She said. "I'm SO sorry!" He said. "It's okay. She pulled him close and started kissing him. Almost getting caught excited her.
"Honey bear!" His Mom shouted.
"Mom! I will be right out!" He yelled getting angry.
"What is wrong with you?" She asked. "I thought you would be happy to see us."
"I AM!" He yelled.
She tried to open the door.
"Open this door right now!" She shouted. He ignored her yelling the whole time! Once HE finally finished, I grabbed my clothes and ran into the closet. He got dressed and opened the door.
"Geez, Mom." He said.
"What's going on in here?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"I saw that bra on the floor. Did you have a girl here while I was gone?" She asked.
"No."
"Where is the bra now?" She asked suspiciously.
"Mom, come on. Just stop. What did you get me?"
"Explain the bra. NOW!" She said.
"Okay." He said. "I had a girl over."
"Did you have sex with her?"
"Mom, geez. No." He said.
His Dad walked into the bedroom. "What's going on in here?"
"He had a sleep over while we were gone. . . with a girl." His Mom said.
"He did not, stop being paranoid." He said.
"Billy, I saw a bra on the floor earlier. It's gone now. He hid it." She said.
"Mom, can we drop this please? It's embarasing." Richie said.
"So you did have a girl here?" His Dad asked. "You just admited it."
"Yes." He said. He looked down at the ground.
"Did you use protection?" His Mom asked him.
"Mom, geez." Richie said.
"Did you?" His Dad asked.
Richie stood up. "Please just trust me on this. I don't make bad choices."
"Did you use protection? I want to know right now." She asked again.
"No." He answered.
"She's on birth control though." He lied.
"Good." His Dad said. They both left the room. He locked the door and opened the closet.
Christy look scared. "I could be pregnant. I was so stupid, why was I so stupid?" She said.
"You're not stupid." He said.
She smiled. "I'm kidding anyway. I really am taking birth control pills. I went with Adria when she got hers. We both wanted to be safe."
"Good." He said. He hugged her tightly.

"That was awkward." He said. "Tell me about it! and my hand got bruised!" She said, giggling. He started kissing her again. "I can't stop thinking about you!" He whispered. "Me either. Call me later, okay?" Christy said, giving him one more kiss before climbing out his window. She started heading toward her house, but changed her mind and went to Adria's instead.

Her Mom answered the door when I knocked.
"Adria's in her room." She told her.
"Okay. Thanks." Christy said. She went to Adria's room and walked in. Adria was having sex with Drew!
"Shut the door!" Adria shouted. Christy covered her eyes.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry." Christy whispered. She turned around and locked the door, just incase her Mom heard her yell and tried to walk into the room.
"What the fuck. Do people always just barge into your room?" Drew asked Adria.
"She's my best friend, she can barge in any time." Adria told him.
Christy stood there staring at the door. It got really quiet for a few minutes, which made her uncomfortable. She heard Drew moan. "Okay, can you do this another time?" Christy asked.
"One second." Drew said rudly with a shaky voice.
Christy sighed. She heard Drew take a deep breath and let it all out.
"Sorry!" Adria said as she hugged Christy from behind. "You can turn around now."
Christy turned around. Drew was pulling his pants up and Adria was wearing his shirt.
Drew walked up to Adria and kissed her. "See ya." He climbed out her window.
"So?" Adria said. "What brings you here? Just want to hang out or something?"
"Yeah. I'm so sorry!" Christy said. "Don't worry about it! I can't believe I forgot to lock the door." Adria said. "You'll never guess what happened!!" Christy said, and told Adria about Richie's mom. By the end of the story they were both laughing, and holding their sides. "That is the funniest thing I ever heard! Are you two always going to have funny sex??" Adria said, still catching her breath. "Funny sex???" Christy said, and started laughing again.
"So, now I can never meet Richies parents without them thinking I'm a whore." Christy said. The two of them got bored and decided to take their rollerblades to the park. Adria grabbed hers, then they walked over to Christy's house to pick up her rollerblades.
When they got to the park, they saw two girls from their school.
"Hi!" Shepard said all cheery.
Shepard Stanton is the most popular girl in school. She has long blond hair and light blue eyes. She is super thin, but busty.
"Hi." Adria said.
"What have you ladies been up to this summer? I've been like laying out by the pool and stuff. Oh, and I've done lot's of shopping." She said smiling and wrapping a small strand of her around her finger.
"Cool." Christy said.
"Why so blue?" She asked them.
"We're not blue." Adria told her.
"Uh! Such a drag to be around you two." She said. She started walking away and the rest of the girls followed. They looked at them like they were weird as they walked by.
Christy and Adria started laughing, not caring that the girls were still pretty close behind them. "I hate her!" Adria said. "I know! Me too." Christy said. They skated around the park together for a little while and decided to head back home. It was warm, and they were getting hungry. They were turned the corner out of the park and were on the sidewalk. A car pulled up next to them and honked. It was Drew and Jeff. "Hi!" Adria shouted. "Get in!" Drew said. "Adria opened the back door and jumped in. "Come on!" She shouted at Christy. "That's okay! I just want to head home." She said. "Don't be silly, come on!" Adria reached out and grabbed Christy's hand, pulling her in the car with her. Christy shut the door and they drove off.
"Where the hell have you been lately?" Jeff asked Christy.
"She has a boyfriend." Adria told him.
"Oh, I see." He replied.
"You guys want to go to a party?" Drew asked.
"Yeah!" Adria said excited.
"I don't feel like it, can you take me home?" Christy asked.
"What's going on with you, Chris?" Drew asked.
"Nothing." She replied.
"Not nothing, definatly something." He said.
"Drop it, Drew." Adria told him. And he did.
"I think you should come." Jeff said.
"It would be fun." Adria said smiling. "Pretty please." She whispered.
"I guess." Christy said. "But we have to get our shoes."
The guys swung them by their houses so they could get shoes and then drove back to their apartment to wait for the party. Christy felt really awkward. "Is it that dumb church boy?" Drew asked Adria very loudly. "Shut it! He is a nice guy." Adria said. Jeff didn't say much of anything. They just watched a movie to pass time. "Well, lets head out." Drew said. "Hey, you don't have to come if you don't want too." Jeff told Christy. "That's okay. Adria aparently really wants me to go." Christy told him. Her phone was in her purse on the counter and it started ringing. "I'll get it!" Drew said, jumping up to grab it. "Don't, it's my phone!!" Christy shouted, but it was too late. "Oh, hi churchy boy." Drew said. "No, she is not in right now." He said, and hung up the phone. "You JERK! Give me my phone!" Christy yelled at him. "Come on, it isn't funny!" Jeff said. "Oh, your just jealous because Christy fucked this guy and not you!" Drew said. "Hey! Stop being an asshole!" Jeff said. The phone rang again. "Hello???" Drew asked. Jeff got up, punched him in the shoulder and took the phone. "I'm sorry about that, my friend is being an asshole!" Jeff said into the phone, and handed it to Christy. "Where are you?" Richie asked. "I kind of got kidnapped. Can you come get me? I want to leave!" Christy said angrily. "Yeah. Were are you?" Richie asked, sounding very irriated. Christy gave him the address and hung up. "I'm sorry." Jeff said. "Shut up!" Christy yelled and walked out the door, slaming it behind her. She heard Adria yelling at Drew. Jeff came out after Christy. "Look. I don't know what his deal is. I'm so sorry! It was nice seeing you though!" Jeff said to Christy's back as she walked away. Jeff turend around and walked the other way. He knew it would be better to go for a walk and cool off before he saw Drew again. Adria came out of the apartment a few minutes later, with Drew behind her. "Drew has something to say to you." She said, pushing drew in front of Christy. He just stood there. Richie came pulling up right then.
"Sorry." Drew said.
"Please come to the party with is, Chris." Adria said. "I miss hanging out with you. Come on."
Christy looked at her and sighed.
"Do I have to be for my bestest friend to have a few drinks with me?" She asked.
Christy smiled. "No."
"Thank you!!" Adria shouted as she gave Christy a hug.
Christy walked up to Richie's car and poked her head in his window.
"I'm going to go to a party." Christy told him. "Sorry I made you come by. I was just angry."
"You sure everything's okay?" He asked.
"Yes. Love ya." Christy told him. She kissed him on the cheek and walked back to Adria. Richie looked kind of sad, but Christy ignored it. He had to understand that she was going to be with her friends sometimes without him.
Richie left, and Jeff came walking around the corner. "Your still here?" He asked Chrsity. "Yeah, I decided to come along. For Adria." She told him. They all got in the car, and drove to the party. It was a house a little way out of the city. They knocked on the door, and a guy answered. Christy could smell the weed smoke inside. She crumpled up her nose. "Hey, come on in!" The guy said really slow. They walked in and the house was full of people! Jeff and Drew went to the kitchen and came back with four bud lights. There was some room on the couch so they all decided to sit down. All four of them sat on the couch, so Christy got squished between Adria and Jeff. Christy just sat there while Jeff, Drew and Adria talked. "What is wrong?" Jeff asked Christy. "I don't know. I guess I just don't know what to do." Christy said, and laughed. A few minutes later the guy that answerd the door came walking up with a blunt and handed it to Drew. Drew and Adria took a hit, but Christy declined. Jeff did too. "What, not good enough for you?" Drew asked. "I just don't want it." He told Drew. "Oh. It's because of Christy." Drew said. Christy was starting to really hate Drew.
"Did you tell her you love her yet?" Drew asked Jeff.
"What the fuck is your deal?" Jeff asked. He got up and went outside.
Christy looked at Jeff and Adria. "He does love you, he told me."
"He hardly knows me." Christy said.
"Well, he likes you a lot anyway." Adria told her.
"Probably just wants to get in your pants." Jeff said.
"You're an asshole." Christy told him. She opened the front door and peaked out. She didn't see Jeff. She was so mad! She went to the kitchen and grabbed a beer.
"Wow, look at this." A guy said staring at her with his arms out.
She looked at him.
"You are a hottie." He told her.
She smiled and started walking to the back yard. The guy followed her.
"Do you not take compliments very well?" He asked her.
"Sorry. My mind is going crazy." She told him. "I'm Christy and thanks for the compliment."
"Romeo." He said.
"Romeo oh romeo." She said mocking Juliet from the movie.
"Gay hu? I hate it." He said.
"Kinda cute actually." She told him. She finished her beer and took a shot with Romeo. And then another and another. Soon after she was drunk. Jeff walked outside and he was totally wasted.
"There you are!" Jeff said when he saw her. He walked up to her and Romeo.
"Hi." She said to him. She put her arm around him. She introduced him to Romeo.
"Fuckin Romeo." He said laughing. "Like Romeo and Juliet."
"Yes." Romeo said. "You're fuckin drunk."
We all laughed.
Jeff got close to me. "I really do like you." He whispered to me.
"I know." She said.
"Come to a bedroom with me." He whispered.
"I have a boyfriend, Jeff." She told him.
"Are you sleeping with that good guy?" He asked.
She smiled. "Yeah."
He laughed. "You turned him into a bad boy."
I giggled. "Yeah I guess I did."
"Please come fool around with me." He said.
She smiled and let her drunkness take over. "Okay."
She followed him to a room and they started kissing right away.
They were kissing for a long time before Jeff slipped his hand under her shirt. She grabbed his hand, and he thought she was just going to push it away, but she placed his hand on her breast instead. He took off her shirt and her bra. She was impressed that she didn't have to help him. She took off his shirt, and started to undo his pants when this time he stopped her. "I really like you Christy, but I can't do this if it isn't going to mean something." He said. She paused for a moment, not knowing what to say. She thought of Richie, and how much fun they had, then thought of Jeff and how differantly it felt with him. She cursed herself for getting so drunk and not being able to think. She decided to just go for it. "It will mean something to me. I promise, I can feel it." She whispered. That was all Jeff needed to hear. He let her take his pants off, and started fumbling with something in his pocket while Christy finished getting undressed. "What are you doing?" She asked him. "I'm getting a condom." he said. "No, you don't need one." She said and smiled. "Your on birth control?" He asked. "Yes, now come here." She said, pulling him on top of her. His face was right by hers, and she looked into his eyes, and felt his breath on her. This was completely differant from Richie. It wasn't awkward, or "funny", it was amazing. The finished, and Jeff rolled over next to her and kissed her. She ran her fingers through his hair, making sure to enjoy every minute of this. He stopped kissing her and said, "Thank you." She laid her head ontop of his chest and felt his chet rise in fall. She started dozing off when the door opened.
"Whoa! People havin' sex!" A guy shouted and closed the door.
They both laughed. They looked at eachother and smiled.
"I need a cigarette." He said.
"Can we lay here a little longer?" She asked him.
"Sure." He said. He kissed her forehead.
They layed there for a little while not saying anything.
"Wow, I am really drunk." He said laughing.
Christy giggled. "Me too."
"You don't think you'll regret this in the morning, do you? Cause I know I won't." He said.
"I won't." She said.
"You want to go have a cigarette with me?" He asked her.
"I want to stay away from cigarette's." She said. "I don't want to make a habit of it."
"Okay." He said.
She sat up and he got up. She watched him get dressed. He noticed and smiled. He pointed at her clothes.
"What?" She asked.
"Now I get to watch you get dressed." He said smiling.
She giggled. "No."
"Why not?" He asked.
"I'll feel silly." She said.
"Don't be embarased." He told her. He picked up her clothes. "Come here."
"No." She said laughing.
"Fine." He said. "Goofy girl."
She smiled.
"I'll be in the backyard." He told her. He left the room and she got dressed. She checked herself out in the mirror and her hair was a mess. She tried to fix it the best she could. She walked out and Craig was standing in the hallway.
"Hey, Christy!" He said.
She smiled and continued to walk.
"Wait a minute!" He shouted. "Christy?" He ran up to her. "Are you and Richie still together? I just heard someone was having sex in that room."
"Well, it wasn't me." She told him giving him a weird look.
She went to the backyard and saw Jeff. He was smoking pot with a group of guys.
"Hey." He said when he saw her.
"Hi." She said.
"You want?" A guy asked offering her some.
She thought for a minute. "Sure." She said smiling at Jeff.
Jeff gave her a puzzled look. "Changed my mind." She said, letting the guy light it up for her. She walked over and stood by Jeff. Craig came out a few minutes later, and stared at them from a little way away. "Can I talk to you?" She asked Jeff, and pulled him over to the side. "What's up?" He whispered. "That really did mean something, right?" She asked him. "Yeah!" He said, smiling. "Okay. Because things are about to end with Richie and I." She said. She looked over her shoulder, and Craig was still staring at them, but was talking on the phone. She had a pretty good idea who he was talking too. "Fuck!" She whispered under her breath. "What?" Jeff asked, not hearing her. "Nothing." She said. Only it wasn't nothing. She felt horrible. Not for sleeping with Jeff, but for doing it behind Richie's back, and for how he was finding out. Christy's eyes started to water. "What is wrong?" Jeff asked her. "I'm a JERK!" She said, starting to cry. Jeff put out his cigarette and gave her a hug. "No you aren't." He said. "You are the sweetest person I know. Don't ever think differantly." He whispered. She hugged him back and took another drag on her cigarette. She touched the St. Christopher medal around her neck, and turned around. Craig was still looking at them. "Hold on." She said to Jeff. She walked over to Craig. "What's the deal?" She asked him. "Shouldn't I be asking you that?" He asked her. He reminded Christy of a weasil. "Your a slut, just like your stupid friend Adara!" He said. "Adria!" Christy yelled at him. "What the fuck ever. Doesn't change anything!" He said glaring at her. Jeff heard. He walked up, and pulled Christy back, stepping bewtween her and Craig. Craig looked a little scared, but he kept running his mouth anyway. "Do you have a problem?" Jeff asked him. "Damn right I do. That little slut you were with is dating my cousin!" He spat into Jeff's face. Jeff punched him. "JEFF!" Christy yelled, pulling him away from Craig. "Stop it!" She said. A couple guys ran over and stood between Craig and Jeff. "Let's go inside!" Christy said, trying not to cry. The whole situation was fucked up, and she just wanted it over. They went inside and Adria and Drew were on the couch, quite stoned. "Christy! What's wrong?" Adria asked. Christy and Jeff went over and sat by them. Just then A group of guys were escourting Craig out. No one really liked him, so any excuse to kick him out was good enough for them. He saw Christy and Adria and shouted at Drew. "Hey, your girlfriend Fucks Fantasitc!" He shouted at Drew. Drew and Jeff both stood up. "Sit down!" A guy said. They pushed Craig out the door, and locked it. "What the fuck is he talking about?" Drew asked Adria. "I don't know." She said, looking away. He just looked at her. "Don't listen to him. He is a fucking jerk!" Jeff said. I think he knew Adria was lying, I don't know why he saved her like that. "Whatever." Drew said. "Pass the cronic!" He shouted.
"I'll be right back." Christy said tearing up. "Bathroom." She smiled at Jeff. She walked to the bathroom, sat on the toilet and just cried. Her cell phone rang and she looked to see who it was. It was Richie. She let it go to voicemail. She cried even harder. "My life was finally starting to feel normal and I blew it!" She shouted at herself. The phone rang again. It was Richie. She picked it up. She took a deep breath.
"Richie I need you, I am falling apart." She sobbed.
"Baby, where are you?" He asked.
"I don't know." She said.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm sorry. I am just drunk. I am fine. I'm safe. Call me in the morning. I love you." She told him. She didn't know how she felt about Richie anymore, but she knew that hanging out with this crowd was not good for her.
She heard a knock at the door. "Christy, is everything okay?" she heard Jeff ask. "NO." She said. "Can I come in?" Jeff asked. "Yes." She said, whiping her tears from her eyes. "What is it?" He asked her, closing the door. She didn't know what to say. "Oh. I think I know. You wish you hadn't slept with me." He said, looking at her. That was one thing with Jeff, he never looked away, always directly at her. "No. It's not that. I just wish I had thought about it. Richie is a great person, and I have completely been a total ass to him." Christy said. "No. Don't cry. It is my fault. I shouldn't have-" Christy put her hand up to tell him to stop. "No. I don't regret doing it. I feel bad, but I wouldn't take it back." She told him. She saw a look of empathy on his face. She had an epiphany about him. "You don't belong here either." She said. "What?" He asked her. "Months ago at a party you told me I didn't belong around you guys. You don't either." She said. For the first time Jeff looked away. "It's true." She said. "I don't know what you mean. This is who I am." He said, getting defensive. "Sorry. I just figured it out now. You and I both belong here as much as the other, but we can't stay away from it." She said. He didn't know what to say. Those words hit him hard. Christy started crying. Jeff came over and hugged her. Lets take you home." He said, and kissed the top of her head. "Okay." She said. "Just give me a minute to get a hold of myself." "Okay, I'll call a cab." Jeff said, and walked out of the bathroom. Christy splashed her face with water, and whiped off her mascara smudges with some toilet paper. She walked out, and someone said Jeff was waiting for her outside. They sat on the curb in front of the house. She really enjoyed the moment, and tried to cherish it. She had the feeling she wouldn't be feeling it again, not with Jeff. Jeff put his arms around her and held on to her. To Christy it felt like he was afraid to let go of her. She knew when the cab dropped her off he would tell her they shouldn't see each other again. For some reason he felt that he didn't deserve her, or a better life. She knew exactly how he felt, because she felt that way a long time ago. Ironicly, Jeff had been the one to show her she was wrong. She laughed at the thought. "What?" He asked. "Irony." Christy said. "What?" Jeff asked again. "Nothing." She said and snuggled up against him. She was right, she the taxi dropped her off, Jeff walked her to the door and told her they should probably not see each other. He hugged her, and had a difficult time pulling away. When he did, he turned away fast, and walked briskly back to the cab. Christy tried not to cry. She got her keys out of her pocket and started unlocking the door. She walked in and her dad was in the living room with Susan. There was an empty bottle of wine on the table, and they each had a half empty glass. Chrsity just stood there. "Oh, hi sweetheart." Her dad said. He got up to give her a hug, and she turned away. "What?" He asked. She could tell he was drunk. "You're drunk." She told him. "You are too sweetie!" Susan said. "I can tell. Apple never falls far from the tree!" she giggled, and Christy's dad laughed. "I have to go!" Christy said, and walked out of the house. She ran out the door, and was upset when she heard her dad tell Susan, "She'll get over it!". She got to the corner and called Richie crying. She had a hard time speaking, so he just told her to wait there and he would come get her. He pulled up a few minutes later and drove Christy to his house. You'll have to climb through my window." He told her. She got out, and walked around the house to Richie's room and waited for him to open his window for her. He opened it a few minutes later. "Sorry. I got stopped by my mom." He said, letting her in. He locked his bedroom door, and put some music on to hide their talking. Christy just sat on the bed. She had stopped crying, but her eyes were all red. Richie's cd player was on random and "Jinx" by Green Day came on. Christy listened to the lyrics, "I fucked up again it's all my fault. So turn me around and face the wall. Read me my rights and tell me I'm wrong. Until it gets into my thick skull." She started crying again. "What is it?" He asked her. "I am a horrible person. I fucked up real bad." She said. "And my dad is drunk, and so am I, and I hate myself right now." She said. "Hey. You are not horrible." He said. "Yes I am! Richie, I-" He put his finger to her lips. "I know. Craig called me. I didn't believe him, but I do now. We'll figure out what the deal is with us later. You're staying here tonight, okay?" He said. She just nodded. They both climbed in bed, and Richie wrapped his arms around her. "I'm so sorry." She whispered. "Hey. Stop it. I love you, and we can talk about it tomorrow." He whispered. "I hate that woman." Christy said. "Who?" He asked. She told him all about her dad and Susan. . . and the bottle of wine. "She was wrong. You are nothing like that." He reasured her. Get some sleep, okay." He said, and kissed the back of her neck. They were both on their sides and she was facing away from Richie. She fell asleep shorty after. Richie laid there awake for a long time, however. He had a lot to think about too. "2000 Light years" played on his stereo, and it reminded him of Christy. He hugged her tighter.
He finally dosed off. The next morning when she woke up, Richie wasn't in the room. She turned over onto her other side and noticed there was a rose on his pillow along with a card. She smiled and picked up the card. She opened it up and read it.
Christy,
I want to take this time to tell you how I feel about you. You are very special to me. I am falling for you hard and I have not been this happy in a long time. I want to be with you. My parents are gone right now and I am in the living room watching tv. Take a few minutes to think about what you want. If you want to be with me, come see me. If you don't want to be with me, you can climb out my window and let me move on. Either way, I will respect your decision. I just want to make sure you are doing what will make you happiest. I love you, Richie
After she read the note she thought it was so sweet. It made her cry. She laid there for a while thinking about what to do. She got a smile on her face and knew exactly what to do. She got up and climbed back out his window and walked home. Not wanting to deal with her father at the moment, she snuck back into her window. She snuck into the bathroom and took a shower. When she was done, there was no sign of her dad, so she walked back to her room and got dressed. She typed up two letters on her computer, and printed them out. She then fixed her hair, and put on a little bit of make-up. Since her dad was still asleep she just went out the front. She grabbed her roller blades from the front yard and put them on, putting her flipflops in her bag with the letters. She skated to the convenience store and bought some tape and two roses. She then put everything in her bag and skated to Jeff's apartment. When she got there she pulled out one rose and his letter and taped them to the door. It said:
Jeff,
I love you, but I don't think it was meant for us. There is someone out there waiting for you. Someone special, but it isn't me. Maybe in another world or lifetime, but not now. I will always remember you, and the time we 'shared' together. Don't forget to take care of yourself. You don't belong here either.

She then skated back to Richies house. She looked in the window and he wasn't on the couch. Her heart sank. She was hoping he wouldn't notice she was gone untill she got back. She didn't want to just let herself in, so she went around the house to his window. She saw him laying on the bed. The note he had written her was wripped up and on the floor. She tapped on the window, and he looked up. He looked a little puzzled. She taped the letter and rose to the window, so that the letter could be read from the inside. Richie got up and walked over to read it. Christy just stood there. The letter said,
Richie,
"In every single letter, In every single word, There will be a hidden Message, about a boy who loves a girl."
I love you too. You said you are falling for me fast and hard, and I feel the same way about you. I'm so sorry, and I hope you will forgive me. I read you letter, and all I wanted was to run out, kiss you, and hold your hand. I had to take care of something first, but I am here now. If you still want me, then let me in.

Richie read it and smiled. Christy untaped the rose and letter, taking them down so Richie could open the window. He helped her climb in and imediatly embrassed her. After the warm hug, he took the letter and put it in his notebook. "Will you help me tape your letter back together? Sorry, I thought you didn't want me." He asked. "Yes." She said, and smiled at him. "Come here." He said, putting his arms out.
"You are absolutely sure this is what you want, right?" He asked.
"Yes." She told him. He picked up the peices of his letter and put them on his dresser. "We can deal with that later." He told her.
"My parents are gone for most of the day."
She smiled at him. He walked up to her and took her hands. "I planned something special." He said.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yeah. We're going horseback riding and I got us a hotel room for one night." He said. "Well, I had my cousin get it anyway." He giggled.
"That sounds really nice." She smiled.
"I just want to have a special night with you with no interuptions. I feel like that's why you went to Jeff." He said.
She started to say something and he put his finger on her lips.
"Don't say anything." He told her.
He leaned in and kissed her. It felt different to Christy this time. It wasn't funny or awkward. They laid down on the bed, and proceded to take off each others clothes. "I love you Chirsty." Richie said, pulling away from her. She smiled. "I love you too." She whispered. Richie climbed on top of her and the made love. When they finished they both fell asleep in each others arms.
They woke up to Richie's dad singing in the hallway.
"I better go." She told him. They kissed. She got dressed and went out his window. She skated back home and her dad was home. They had a long talk.
"I'm going to be checking myself into a rehab center." He told her. "You're going to stay with Aunt Bessy."
She felt a little frustrated that she had to stay with Aunt Bessy, but she understood why. Aunt Bessy lived a few blocks away from Richie anyway. She gave her dad a hug and went to her room. She started packing up some things.
Her dad drove her to Aunt Bessy's and dropped her off. He didn't say a word. He just waved, and backed out of the driveway. Christy walked to the front door and rang the bell. Aunt Bessy answered. "Oh, your here. Good." She said, smiling. "I'm glad your lazy father got some sense knocked into him." She said, and Christy rolled her eyes. "Would you like the guest room, or the cot in the computer room?" Aunt Bessy asked Christy. "Um, the guest room is fine. Acutally, tonight I was suposed to stay at my friends house. We kind of already made plans." Christy said. Aunt Bessy just glared at her. Her children were all older than Christy and already out of the house. Aunt Bessy always saw Chirsty and her father as liars and screw-ups. "I don't think so missy!" She said. "I can give you her phone number." Christy told her. "Look, I'm going one way our another, with or without your permission." Christy said. The only way to deal with Aunt Bessy was to be aggresive. It worked. "FINE! Leave her number on the whiteboard." She said, sitting on the couch and starting her knitting. Christy wrote down Adrias Cell phone number, and went back to the guest room. She called Adria to tell her what was up, and if she got a call from Aunt Bessy to pretend she was her mom. "No problem babe!" Adria said. "So how is Jeff?" Christy asked. "Um. . . your letter kind of shook him up. He really liked you. He'll be fine though." She said. They talked for a while, and Christy decided she'd better call Richie. She let him know what was up. "Okay, you can still come though, right?" He asked. "Yeah. You can't pick me up though. I'll just walk to your house. I don't need Aunt Bessy to see me leaving with a boy." Christy said. They hung up and Christy jumped in the shower and got ready to leave. She took the things out of her bag that she wouldn't need that night and set them up in the dresser in the guest room. Then she grabbed her bag, and told Aunt Bessy she was going out. Aunt bessy didn't say anything to her. She walked over to Richie's house, and he met her at his window. "Go to the corner. My parents think I am staying at my cousins tonight. I'll pick you up in five minutes." He said. Christy walked to the corner and sat down. Richie came pulling up a few minutes later, and she hopped in the car.
"I'm really excited about this." She told him. He put his hand on her leg as they pulled away.
"Me too." He said.
It took them about an hour to get to the hotel. Richie checked in and got the room while Christy waited in the car. After a few minutes, he walked up to the car and got in.
"They have a pool and a spa." He said. "We'll go horseback riding in the morning." He smiled and gave her a kiss.
Richie pulled around the there room, and they unpacked their things. Chirsty laid down on the bed. "Hey, I'm kind of tired. Do we have time to take a nap, or jus relax for a little bit?" She asked. "Of course. We can go do dinner whenever you want. Or order room service." Richie said. "Okay." Was all Christy said back. "Is something wrong?" He asked her, climbing onto the bed next to her. "I'm just worried about my dad." She told him. "I don't want to end up like him. And I hope he is okay." She said. "Don't say that. Your dad will be fine. And he seems like a good person, just some hangups." He said, and kissed her forehead. She smiled at him. "You know what, I'm not that tired. Do you want to go sit in the spa?" She asked him. "Absolutly!" He said. They both changed into their suits and went down to the pool. There wasn't anyone around, which they thought was great. Christy climbed in while Richie turned on the bubbles. He got in, and sat next to her, holding her hand.
He leaned his head towards her and started kissing her kneck. "Richie." She whispered. "Not here."
"Why not? Nobody is around." He said looking up.
She rolled her eyes and smiled. She looked around and didn't see anyone. "I guess."
He gave her a huge smiled and started kissing her. He slipped off her bottoms. She started to get nervous. He held her close to him and she took off his shorts. They had sex in the spa and she couldn't beleive how great it was.
"How was that?" He asked quietly.
She giggled. "Good."
They heard some people coming and rushed to put their bottoms on. They got out of the spa and speed walked while giggling back to their room.
When they got up stairs they couldn't stop laughing! They changed and decided to just eat in the restaurant in the hotel. They went down and were seated. The waiter came to take their drink order, and Christy picked up right away that he was completely stoned. She started giggling. Richie just looked at her, and the Waiter had to try not to laugh too. "I'll just have a Pepsi." She said between giggles. "Uh. . I'll have one too." Richie said, still looking at Christy. "To pepsi's coming up." The waiter said, laughing, and walking away. "What?" Richie asked. "You can't tell?" She asked him. "Tell what? You know him?" He asked puzzled. "No!" She couldn't help but to laugh and tease him. "Then what?" Christy kept laughing. The waiter came walking up before she could answer, which made her laugh more. "Here are your drinks. Can i take your order?" The waiter asked. "We still need a few minutes." Christy said, trying not to laugh. The waiter started laughing again, and turned walking away. "WHAT?" Richie asked, starting to get irritated. "He is totally stoned!" Christy said, laughing.
"Oh!" He said. "Why is that so funny?"
"Mostly cause he is at work." She told him.
The waiter came back like a minute later. "Ready yet?"
"No. I havn't even looked at the menu. Give us a few minutes." She said laughing.
"I apologize for that miss." The waiter said smiling.
Christy giggled.
The waiter walked away, and Christy lost it. "STOP IT!" Richie said. "I can't help it! I'm sorry." She said. "It's okay." Richie said, and smiled. They waiter came back and they just picked something off the menu real quick. The ate there meal, and it was delicious!! The waiter brought the check, and shared another laughing spout with Christy. He gave them the bill, and left again. On the back there was a phone number, and a note:

Christy laughed even more when she read it! Richie did not look amused. "Oh, come on! It's funny. We don't have to go! I just want to be with you tonight!" She said, rubbing his leg under the table.
Richie smiled. "Okay." He said. "You're silly."
"I know." She smiled.
They paid the check and went back to their room. They decided to rent a movie on pay per view. Richie picked up the booklet that listed the movies. "Oh, they have Benchwarmers!" Richie said excited.
"Let's watch that!" Christy said.
They watched the movie and relaxed. Christy kept dosing off.
After the movie they were both pretty tired, so they decided to just go to sleep. The next morning they got a 7:00 wake up call. They got up, and got ready for their fun day of horseback riding. The walked down to the car, and drove to a small ranch where the lessons were being held. Richie walked into the main building to let them know they were here. He came back out to the car, and opened Christy's door letting her out. "Lessons are at 10:00. It is 9:00 now. They are serving breakfast in that building over there to everyone taking lessons. You hungry?" he said. "Yes! Starving!" she told him, and they walked to the dining hall.
It looked like an old western saloon. Christy thought it was really neat, because she had never seen anything like it before. They were served eggs over easy, bacon and potato's. They both really liked their meal! When it was time to go riding, they all had to line up. An older man wearing a cowboy hat walked up. He had all the girls get on first. He helped them all get on their horses. Then, the men got on theirs. He explained how to make them turn, slow down, speed up and stop. He hopped onto a horse. "This way." He said. The horses followed him in a line.
The followed the trail, and everyone was realy enjoying themselves. Except for Richie. His horse kept trying to throw him off, much to everyones amusement. There was another guy there their age who kept flirting with Christy, and trying to be a big shot. She was getting very annoyed! Richie was too pre-occupied with his horse to notice. The guy kept showing off, and being cocky. He wasn't paying attention, and didn't duck under a low tree branch! It knocked him right off his horse. Christy couldn't stop laughing at him. She waited for Richie to catch up to her, and the rode off together. The ride lasted a couple hourse. It looped around the property, coming back to where they started. Everyone was climbing off their horse and talking excitedly as they walked in to have lunch. "I hate horses!" Richie said, practicly falling off his. Christy just laughed, and he glared at her. "You love me, and you know it!" She said, making him smile. The held hands and walked into the dining hall. The were all served hamburgers and chips. Unfortunatly for Christy, her and Richie got stuck sitting by the cocky jerk.
"You sucked at horseback riding!" The guy said.
Richie ignored him.
"Mine name's Carter." He put his hand out for me to shake it, so I did. "Do you have a name, or should I call you sexy horseback rider?" He smiled.
"Christy." She told him.
"Honey, I think we should get it on in the spa again tonight? What do you say?" Richie said to me, just loud enough for Carter to hear.
"You're boning this?" Carter asked Christy as he pointed at Richie.
She put her arms around him. "We're engaged." She said smiling. She kissed Richie on the cheek.
Carter finished his food quietly and left.
"We are?" Richie asked, laughing. "That guy was such a jerk!" She told him. That afternoon they walked around the ranch before heading back to the hotel. They went up to the room to change, and pack up. "Hey. One more time while we are alone in a hotel?" Richie asked, raising his eyebrows. "Hmm... I don't know if I can handle anymore of you." Christy said, and climbed onto the bed. Richie joined her, and they started kissing.
"Let's do it on the desk!" He said excited.
Christy laughed. "Um, okay."
"You sit and I'll stand." He said. He started laughing.
"You're funny." She said. She sat on the desk. He put his arms around her and started kissing her. She took off his shirt and put her arms around his neck.
He took his pants off, and slid her to the very edge of the desk. He wapped his arms around her to hold her there. Christy thought it was a little weird, but she didn't say anything. She just enjoyed herself. After a few minutes, Richie was getting tired of standing, so He Picked her up, and laid her on the bed. She climbed on top of him to finish. "You are so amazing." Richie told her, smiling. Christy just laughed. The got dressed, packed up and headed down stairs to check out. The ride home was a quiet one, as they were both kind of tired. Riche dropped her off at the corner, and she walked to her Aunt's house. Aunt Bessy wasn't home, and Christy didn't have a key, so she decided to just go to her house and call in a few hours to see if her Aunt was home yet.
She went to her bedroom and ended up falling asleep on the bed. She woke up the next morning and called her Aunt right away.
"I was worried sick!" She yelled.
"I'm so sorry, Aunt Bess." She said. "You weren't there when I got there, so I came to my house and I fell asleep."
She sighed. "I am so glad you are okay."
"I am so sorry I made you worry."
"It's okay, sweetie. I'm going to head to the library. Want me to swing by and pick you up?" She asked. "Otherwise, I can come get you afterwards."
"I'll go with you." She said.
"I'll be there in about twenty minuets." Aunt Bessy said and hung up.
Christy took a quick shower and got dressed. As soon as she was dressed, Aunt Bessy was knocking on the door. She opened the door.
"Good Morning." She said as she walked in.
"I just want to brush my hair and put some make up on." Christy told her. She went to her bedroom and brushed her hair. She grabbed her foundation and powder to put on in the car.
"I'm so sorry I was hard on you yesterday." Aunt Bessy told her. "It is okay." Christy said, smiling at her. They got to the library and split up. Aunt bessy needed some resipe books, and wanted to look at the videos, and magazines. Christy decided just to walk around and see if there were any books she wanted to read. She was in the mystery section when she heard someone go "Pssst. . . He sexy! Over here!" She turend around and didn't see anyone. She looked behind her and there was a guy peeking through a couple books at her. She couldn't tell who it was, so she walked around the book shelf.
It was Drew.
"What are you doing in a library?" Christy asked him jokingly.
"I read books." He said.
She laughed. "How are you doing?"
"I'm alright." He answered.
"How's Jeff?" She asked him.
He sighed. "Oh, he's alright."
"Just alright?"
"Yup." He said as he grabbed a book and started flipping through the pages. "You're welcome to come over for a little party tonight."
"I'll think about it." She told him.
"It's for Addy's little sister. She's turning 18. It'll be somewhat harmless. Addy's gonna make some Daquiri's." He said.
"Oh okay." She said. "Will it be a problem if I bring Richie?"
"Nah. Bring whoever you want." He said. He put the book back on the shelf. "See you around." He walked away.
"Reads books my ass!" Christy said out loud to herself. Her phone started ringing, so she walked outside to answer it. "Hello?" She answered. "Hey babe, it's me. How are ya?" Richie said. "I'm good. Just at the library with my Aunt. Hey, we got invited to a party tonight, but we don't have to go." She told him. "We can go!" He said. "It is at Drew and Jeff's." She told him. "Oh. I see. Hey, we can go. I'll be mature, if they are or not is up to them." He said, which made her laugh. "Okay, we'll go. I'll walk over to your house." I told him. "Okay. Hey, don't worry about coming to the window. I want my parents to meet you." He told her. "What?" She gasped. "It is okay! They don't know it was YOU who was in my room. It'll be fine!" He said. "Okay, if you say so! I'll walk over at 8:00." She told him. She hung up and went back inside. Her aunt was just finishing checking out her books. "Ready?" She asked Christy. "Yeah, sure am!" She told her Aunt. They were hungry and decided to grab a bite of food together. They went to a local burger joint and talked. Christy was starting to like her aunt a lot more!
"Do you mind if I go to a party tonight? I can be home at a certain time if you want."
"Sure. Aim for midnight." Aunt Bessy said.
"Okay." Christy said.
They ate and talked about a lot of different things. She told Christy that she had heard from her dad and he has been doing really well. When they were ready to go, they headed home. Christy started to get ready for the party. It was still early, but she wanted to take her time and look really cute.
She wore a tan skirt that was very short! Her Aunt did not aprove, but didn't stop her. She also had on a black halter top, and straightened her hair. She put her make up on dark, and wore her favorite black strappy shoes. She looked at the clock and it was 7:45. She kissed her Aunt goodbye, and walked over too Richie's house. His mom answerd the door. "Hi, I'm Christy, is Richie here?" She asked.
She looked Christy up and down with a strange look on her face.
"Yes, he's here." She said slowly.
"Hi." Richie said walking up. He took my hand. "Mom, this is Christy."
His Mom smiled. "Hi."
Christy smiled. "Well, we're going to go to a party."
"Here." His Dad said. He stuffed a condom in Richie's pocket.
"Dad, I don't need that." He said embarassed.
Christy blushed, and looked away. Richie pretty much pushed Christy out the door. They got in the car and both burst into laughter. "Oh my god!" Christy said, trying to breath. The laughed all the way to the party. When they got there Drew answered the door. "Hey man." He said to Richie. "Hey, sorry I was an ass." He completely took Christy of guard. "Hey, no hard feelings!" Richie said, and shook has hands. "You look nice tonight." He said to Christy and let them in.
"Wine cooler?" Adria asked up to them.
"Sure." Richie said.
"Me too." Christy said.
Adria gave Christy a hug. "Be right back." She told them.
Richie and Christy sat down on the couch. Richie took Christy's hand. She smiled at him.
"Chris!!" Laine, Adria's sister shouted. She ran up to Christy and gave her a hug.
"Laine! How are you? This is Richie." Christy said, introducing her. "Hi!" they both said. "Well, I've got a lot of people to see!" She said, and took off. Jeff walked in the room a few minutes later. "Oh. Um Hi." He said to Christy. "Hi, I'm. . . Jeff." Jeff said to Richie. "Hi, Richie." He said shaking Jeff's hand. "Well, see ya." He said, and walked off. "Was that?" Richie asked. "Yeah." Christy said looking away. Richie tensed up a bit, so Christy squeezed his hand. "I love you." She said, and he relaxed and smiled at her. "Let's get this party rollin!" Drew shouted.
He turned on the radio really loud. Some people started dancing.
"Here!" Adria shouted. She walked up to us and handed us each a wine cooler. "How are you guys doing?"
"Good." Christy told her.
"I'll be right back. I have to go to the bathroom." Christy said. She put her drink down and started walking towards the bathroom. She saw Jeff's bedroom door cracked open. Jeff was laying on his bed staring at the ceiling. She walked up to his door and knocked lightly. He looked over and sat up when he noticed it was Christy.
"Hi." She said to him smiling.
"Hey."
"What are you doing? You're missing all the fun." She told him.
"I'm tired." He said.
She let herself into his room.
"I'm so sorry about everything that went on with us." She told him.
"Are you in love with him?" He asked her.
She nodded. "I think I am."
He shook his head.
"Anyway, just wanted to see what you were doing when I noticed you laying here all alone." She said. "See ya."
"I love you." He told her as she started to walk out of the room.
"What?" She asked in shock.
"Sorry." He said. He walked up to her. "It's true though." He leaned in to kiss her and she backed up.
"Why does this kind of shit always have to happen to me?" She asked.
"Probably because you're such an amazing and sexy women." He said.
"My boyfriend is right out there." Christy said, backing into the wall. "So. I love you Christy." he said, leaning in to kiss her again. She let him kiss her at first, and then thought of Richie. So she pulle away, and tried to back up. She had no where to go. She turned to go out the door, but he put his arm out blocking her. "Stop it!" She said, getting nervous. "Please. I know you love me too. Just give me a chance." He pleaded. "You're scaring me!" She said. "Sorry." He said, and leaned in to kiss her again. She tried to kick him in the nuts, but he pined her leg to the wall with his. He tried to kiss her again, but she turend her head, and he kissed her neck. "HELP ME!" She screamed. The music was loud though, so she didn't know if anyone could hear her. "Stop. Don't you feel it Christy? I love you." He said again. The door swung open, squishing Jeff into Christy. Richie took a swing at Jeff, and punched him the back of the head, knocking him to the ground. Jeff got up, ready to fight, but Drew ran in and punched him in the face, knocking him on the floor again. Drew pulled Richie out of the room and Adria hugged Christy and walked her out. She was crying. "I want to go." Christy said. "What the fuck did he do?" Richie asked, worried. "Nothing. You stopped him. I want to go!" Christy said again. "Lets go, babe." He said. Drew and Adria waled out with them. "I'm so sorry!" Drew said. "He has never done this before! He has got to be on something. Are you okay?" he asked her. "No!" Christy said, still shaken up. "I love you honey! I'm so sorry!" Adria said, giving her a hug. Richie helped Christy into the car, then climbed into the drivers side. Christy looked up at Drew and Adria as they walked away, and they both looked really worried. "I went in to see if he was okay, because he seemed sad. And he-" She started to say. "Shh. It's okay. Don't worry about it now, your fine. I love you." Richie told her. "I love you too." She said. Richie took her back to his house first so she could calm down before he drove her to her aunts. His parents were in their room, and he was glad! He didn't want his mother to see him bringing a shakin, crying Christy into his room. They got back to the room and Christy laid down on the bed.
There was a long silence until Christy's phone rang. She ignored it.
"You okay?" Richie asked her.
She sighed. "My life is always complicated."
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Nothing, nevermind." She smiled. "I won't bore you with the details."
"Christy, you're my girlfriend." He told her. "Details about your life are not going to be boring to me."
"I just mean with Jeff and You." She explained. "My dad. . . partying. Just everything."
"Do you like Jeff?" He asked.
"Yeah. He is ussually a really great guy." She said.
"Okay, but I don't get why you even went in his room." He said sounding jelous.
"Richie, I am going to have male friends. You can't get jelous all the time." She said.
"Do I need to remind you why we almost didn't end up together?" He said started to get frustrated.
She sat up. "You're not over that are you?" She asked getting angry.
"It hasn't been very long still." He said.
"So you can't trust me around other guys?" She asked.
"No." He answered.
"Great!" She shouted.
"Do I have reason to trust you?" He asked.
"Richie, I do not need this right now." She said.
"Did you kiss him or anything tonight?" He asked.
She looked down at her lap and there was a long pause.
"Unbeleiveable." He said.
"He kept trying to kiss me. I didn't want to." She tried to explain.
"Please leave." He said.
She started to tear up. "What?"
"Just go." He said pointing at the window.
She hopped off the bed, opened the window and slammed it open. She climbed out and slammed it shut. She walked to her Aunt's house. She wiped her tears and went inside. Her Aunt was already asleep, so she locked the front door and went to her room.
She put on some music and cried herself to sleep. She slept in really late, and didn't wake up untill her Aunt knoecked on her door. "Come in" Christy said. Aunt Bessy cracked the door open. "There are some people here to see you." She said. "Okay. I'll be right out." Christy said. She got up, brushed her hair, and got dressed. Shen went out front to see who it was. Drew and Adria were standing outside. She went out to join them, and they all sat on the patio. "Are you okay?" Adria said. "No." Christy told her. "What happened?" Adria asked. Christy told her what Jeff did, then what happened with Richie. "I had just gone in there because he looked really sad. I was hoping I could get him to come out and join the party. I guess I felt bad. I didn't go in there for anything else! I didn't even kiss him!" She said, starting to get upset again. "Guy's are Jerks." Drew said, catching Adria and Christy off guard. "I know, because I am one. Your a good kid Christy." He said. It actually made her feel a little better. "So what was the deal with Jeff anyway? He scared the crap out of me last night." Christy asked. "Fuck if I know. I know he was on something, I just don't know what. He was still passed out in his room when we left this morning." Drew said. "You wanna hang out today?" Adria asked. "Maybe later. I need to do some thinking." Christy said. "Okay. Give me a call if you do." Adria said. They hugged each other and Drew and Adria took off. "Everything okay?" Aunt bessy asked. "Yeah, fine!" Christy told her, and went back to her room. She picked up her phone and called Richie. "Hello?" He answered. "It's me." Christy said. "Oh." Was all he said in reply. "I didn't want to kiss him, he kissed me. Remember for me calling for help?" She said irriatedly. Richie didn't say anything. "You know what, fine. If you can't trust me, you can't trust me. I don't want to date you anymore." Christy told him, starting to cry. "Fine." Richie said and hung up. She lied, she did want to date him, but it wouldn't work out if he couldn't trust her. She jumped in the shower to try to relax a little bit.
Christy started to get very upset. She tried to go back to sleep. She always went and did bad things when she was this upset. She couldn't sleep, so she tried to read a book. That didn't get her mind off it either. She walked over to Drews place so she could talk to Adria. Drew answered the door in his boxers. "Come in." He said. "I'll get Adria." He walked down the hall to his room and closed the door. A few minutes went by and Jeff walked out. He looked like he had just woken up. His hair was all messy and he was in his boxers. Christy didn't know what to do. She looked away. Jeff yawned and sighed. He scratched his head. "Hey." He mumbled. She smiled and looked away again. "Sorry about last night." He told her.
She nodded. "No biggie."
He walked up to her. "I didn't mean to come on so strong."
"It's okay." She told him.
"Look at me." He said touching her chin. She pushed his hand away.
"Come on, Christy." He said.
She didn't say anything.
"Can we talk?" He asked. "I really want to talk to you. All I got was that letter. I want to understand what's going on between us."
"Jeff, there is no us." She told him. He got a really sad look on his face. He looked like he was holding in his tears. He gave her a half smile and went to the kitchen. She felt bad. She didn't really know if she should feel bad or not, but she did. She walked into the kitchen and sat down on the barstool at the counter. Jeff was pouring himself a glass of water. She leaned over the counter.
"Jeff, I am so sorry that I slept with you and said things were going to work out between us." She said. "I wasn't lying. I truley beleived it at the time."
He set down the jug of water and looked at her. "I don't think you meant anything you said."
"I did mean everything I said. I swear." She told him.
"Then why are you with him?" He asked.
"Jeff, to be honest. . . you could be a really amazing guy if you would just lay off the drugs." She explained. "I know that some day you will finally stop using drugs and you will meet a great girl that treats you well. . . just like you deserve."
"I already did." He said. He put the jug of water in the refrigerator and took a sip of his water. "I found her. She just hasn't found me yet." Adria walked in. "Am I interupting?" She asked softly.
Christy looked at Jeff. "Nope." He said. He looked at Christy. "Let me know if you ever change your mind." He walked away.
"What was that about?" Adria asked her.
"Has he told you anything about me?" Christy asked. "Like how he feels about me or anything?"
Adria nodded.
"Anything I should know?" Christy asked.
"He says he is in love with you." She said.
"What have I gotten myself into?" Christy asked.
"A love triangle, sweetie." Adria said.
"I don't want to be in a love triangle! I just want. . . it easy." Christy said, and sighed. "I completely broke it off with Richie. He couldn't trust me. To be honest, the first time I let Jeff kiss me. He didn't keep pushing until I pulled away." She coninued. "So, are things completely over? What if he calls you later wanting to hook up again?" Adria asked. "I wouldn't. I cheated on him. He will always have issues trusting me again." She told her. "Well, there is a guy in the other room, who loves you. Sounds pretty easy to me." Adria said. "I don't know. Things are already complicated with us." Christy said. "Better complicated, then nothing." Adria said. "I don't know." Christy said. Jeff walked out a few minutes later, dressed and showered. He sat on the couch and watched tv. "Well, I need to get a shower. I havn't yet, and I'm felling stinky!" Adria said, and walked to the back. Christy walked over to Jeff. "Can we talk?" She asked him. "Sure." He said, turning the tv off, and pointin to the couch for her to sit down.
She sat down. "First off, can you tell me what you were on last night?" She asked.
"Tequila." He said.
She gave him a weird look. "That's it?"
"Yeah. That's it." He said. "We didn't bring any drugs out at the party since it was for Addy's little sister."
"Oh."
"Why?"
"Just checking." She said.
Her cell phone rang. She dug it out of her purse to see who it was. It was Richie. "I'll be right back." She got up and stepped out to the backyard.
"Hello?" She said.
"I'm sorry, Christy." He said quietly.
"It's okay." She said. "I cheated on you. It's understandable."
"I want to trust you, I really do." He said.
"I know you do." She told him. "But you can't."
"I know. I am always going to worry. I'm sorry." He explained.
"Is everything really over?" She asked him.
"I don't know." He cleared his throat. "Is it?"
"I don't know. . ."
"I love you Christy." He said. "I love you too, but is it really going to work out with us? I don't want to go through this every couple of days." I told him. "I think we can make it work." He said. "Where are you, I'll come pick you up and we can talk." He said. "Um. . .I'm at Drew and Jeff's." She told him. "Why?" He asked. "Because I wanted to talk to Adria." She told him. "OH. Is Jeff there?" He asked. "Yes, and your doing it again." Christy said. "Maybe you were right." Richie said, and hung up. "Damn it." She said to herself. She got up and went back inside. "Who was it?" Jeff asked. "No one." Christy said. "So, your not on drugs anymore?" christy asked him. "No, havn't done anything for weeks." He said. "I just broke up with Richie. I don't really want to be with someone right now." Christy said. "Okay. Can we just hang out? Until you might be ready?" Jeff asked. "Sure." She said, and sat down on the couch. Jeff turned on the TV and they watched some dumb cartoons for a little while. Jeff didn't try any moves or anything on her, which Christy noted, and was thankful for. Adria and Drew walked out a few minutes later.
"Hey. . ." Adria said.
"Hi." Christy stood up.
"Did you want to go do something?" Adria asked. "We should go lay out by the pool." She suggested.
"Okay." Christy agreed. "That sounds like fun."
"Cool!" Adria said.
"I'll go get my swim suit." Christy said.
"Okay." Adria said.

Drew drove Christy and Adria to her Aunt's house so she could get my swim suit. She was taking a nap, so Christy just went to the bedroom and grabbed it and left. She got back in the car and they drove back to the apartment. The two girls changed and walked down to the pool. There was no one down there. Adria was being a big baby about getting in the pool, so Christy walked up behind her and pushed her in. "HEY! NOT FAIR!" Adria yelled, coming up for air. Christy jumped in and splashed her. The swam around for a little bit, then got out and laid in the sun to dry off. They didn't say much, just relaxed and enjoyed the sun. After being out there for a little while, they decided to head back in before they got burned. When they got back, Drew and Jeff where playing a video game. "Hey Adria. Sam want's to hang out with him and his girlfriend." He said, not looking up from the TV. "Okay, cool." She said. "When?" She asked. "Um, now." He said. Adria and Christy walked back to the room and changed out of their suits. They came back and Drew was at the door. "I lost track of time. We're late." Drew said. "Fine. Can we drop Christy off on the way?" Adria asked. "I can walk." I said. "Let's go!" Drew said, and they left. I got my purse and started to walk out. "You don't have to go, if you don't want to." She heard Jeff say. "Want to go see a movie or something? As my friend?" He said, smiling. "Um. . . Sure. Why not." Christy said.
"I need to take a shower though. I'm all sweaty." She said. "I'll call you in a little bit."
She left and walked to her Aunts house. She took a shower and layed on her bed to relax. She ended up falling asleep and she didn't wake up until the next morning. She looked at her calendar and realized school will be starting up again in a week! Tomorrow is registeration!
"Darn!" She said out loud. She got dressed and went to see if Aunt Bessy was awake yet. She was in the kitchen cooking potatos. Christy told her about registration and she said she would take her.
"I heard from your dad again this morning." Aunt Bessy said. "He's doing great."
"That's good." Christy said.
She went back to her room and called Jeff. "Hey, sorry about last night. I fell asleep and didn't wake up untill this morning!" She said. "Thats fine." He told her. They talked for a little while and Christy mentioned school starting back up. "Oh really? Already?" He asked. "I know, it is crazy!" She told him. "Did you still want to catch that movie?" He asked her. "Sure. You can pick me up whenever." She told him and hung up. She took another shower, and got dressed. She went downstairs to talk to her Aunt for a little while. "So, a senior this year?" Her Aunt said. "Yeah, I can't believe it!" Christy said. There was a knock on the door. Christy got up to answer it and it was Jeff. "You ready?" He asked. "Yeah, let me get my sweater. I get cold in the theater. Come on in, I'll just be a second." Christy said, letting Jeff in. "Aunt Bessy, this is my friend Jeff." Christy said. And went off to get her sweater. Jeff and Aunt Bessy just stood there awkwardly waiting for Christy to get back. "Okay, Ready?" She asked Jeff, and they left.
"So, you and Richie are over with?" He asked her.
"I think so." She said.
"That sucks. I think he was good for you."
"How so?" She asked curiously.
"He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. He's your age. He. . . I don't know. He just seems like a good match for you." He said. She smiled at him.
They pulled up at the movie theatre and bought tickets. They were a little early, so Jeff got some popcorn and a large soda to share with Christy. They had perfect seats in the middle of the theatre.
They decided on a comedy, and watched '40 Year Old Virgin". Christy almost dropped the soda at one point because she was laughing so hard! When the movie was over, they were still laughing at parts. "So, what do you want to do now?" Jeff asked her. "Um, I don't know. I only have a few days left before summer though, so I want to do someting exciting!" She said. "Hmmm. . . Exciting. . ." I think I know of something." He said when they got into the car. He made her close her eyes. When the car stopped he told her to open them. "BUNGEE JUMPING?" She shouted. "Yeah, you up for it?" He asked. "YES! I've always wanted to do this!" Christy said, excitidly. "Well, Lets go!" Jeff said, and they went inside.
They said we had to make an appointment because they were booked the rest of the day. Jeff put us on the waiting list.
"We will give you a call." The guy said.
We left the place and we decided to go back to his place. We went to his bedroom and layed down on his bed. He tried to kiss me, but I backed away.
"Not yet." Christy said. "When?" Jeff asked. "I don't know." She told him. They fell asleep listening to the CD that was playing. Christy woke up a couple hours later, and Jeff wasn't back there. She got up, and he was in the living room, drinking a beer and watching old Saturday Night Live skits. "Hey." He said. "Hi. OH, I love this one!" She said, sitting down next to him. "Dad, I wish you could just shut your big yapper! Now, I wonder.. Brian, from what I've heard, you're using your paper, not for writing, but for rolling doobies!! You're gonna be doing a lot of doobie-rolling when you're living in a van down by the river!" Mat Foley, Motivational Speaker roared on the TV. Jeff and Christy laughed their heads off. "This has got to be my favorite one!" Jeff said. "Me too!" Christy shouted.
He out his arm around her and she leaned into him resting her head on his shoulder. They watched the rest of the show and decided to order a pizza.
"Hi guys." Adria said walking up to them.
"Hi." Christy said.
She sat down on the other side of Jeff sideways, so her back was leaning up against his arm.
Drew came in and sat down in the chair. "What are you watching?" He asked. "SNL" Jeff told him. "OH! Put in teh best of Christ Farley!" Drew shouted. "You!" Jeff shouted back. "Fine, Lazy." He said, and got up and put it on. "While your up, I could go for a beer!" Adria said. Drew looked over his shoulder and glared at her. "Me too!" Christy said, and he looked at her. "Yeah, I could use another one too bro!" Jeff said, and we all started laughing. Drew came back with four beers, and sat down. As soon as he sat down the doorbell rang. "Damn it! I'm NOT getting it!" He shouted. They all laughed at him. "I will, it's the pizza guy." Jeff said. He got up and paid, and the four of them ate pizza while watching Chris Farley. When that was done Jeff put in the 'Best of Adam Sandler' one, and they laughed even harder! The more beer the had, the funnier everything was.

"Oh, shit. I totally forgot about that!" Adria said jumping up. "Later babe!" She said to Drew as she left.
"See ya guys later." Christy said. She went to Aunt Bessys house.

"Hello." Christy said. She went to her bathroom and brushed her teeth. She didn't want Aunt Bessy to smell the alcohol on her breath. She changed her clothes. She put on a nice dress and her black Mary Jane's. She put her hair back with a red head band.
"I'm ready." She said as she walked up to Aunt Bessy. Aunt Bessy was dressed very nice as well.
"You look cute!" Christy told her.
Aunt Bessy smiled. "You do too. Let's go."
We hopped into her old light blue Cadillac. It didn't take us long to get to the school. There was a huge line going into the auditorium. "Wow." Aunt Bessy said when she saw the line. She parked and we got out of the car. We got in line. It was warm outside too, so we were stuck standing in the heat.
"Christy!" Lolita shouted when she saw me. "I hope we are in Choir together again!"
Christy smiled. "Me too." She lied. Lolita was tall, beautiful and way too cheery. She's a straight A student too and she always wants to tutor everyone! She just assumes that everyone else sucks at school!
"See you at school! I'm so excited!" She shouted jumping up and down. "Woo!" She screamed walking away.
Christy looked at Aunt Bessy. Aunt Bessy was making an odd face watching Lolita skipping away.
"Who is that?" Aunt Bessy asked.
"Lolita Hemingway." Christy answered. "She's annoying."
Aunt Bessy laughed.
They finally got to the front booths to pick up her schedule. "You will need to order at least one new uniform." The lady said. "That will be fifty dollars. You have P.E. again, so you will need to buy a new P.E. outfit if your old one is wripped or faded. You will be put in the special education class for Mathamatics. . ." she shuffled through some papers. "And I think that is all that's new. Any questions, just ask." The lady smiled and handed me my packet.
"Where do we pay for the uniform?" Aunt Bessy asked her. The lady pointed to another line.
"Thank you." Aunt Bessy told her.
"Special Ed?" Christy said softly.
"Sweetie, it's not a big deal." Aunt Bessy winked.
Christy sighed. They got in line for to order her a new uniform.

"Lolita Hemingway." Christy answered. "She's annoying."
Aunt Bessy laughed.
They finally got to the front booths to pick up her schedule. "You will need to order at least one new uniform." The lady said. "That will be fifty dollars. You have P.E. again, so you will need to buy a new P.E. outfit if your old one is wripped or faded. You will be put in the special education class for Mathamatics. . ." she shuffled through some papers. "And I think that is all that's new. Any questions, just ask." The lady smiled and handed me my packet.
"Where do we pay for the uniform?" Aunt Bessy asked her. The lady pointed to another line.
"Thank you." Aunt Bessy told her.
"Special Ed?" Christy said softly.
"Sweetie, it's not a big deal." Aunt Bessy winked.
Christy sighed. They got in line for to order her a new uniform.
It didn't take long, they were done by 11:00. "Lunchtime?" Aunt Bessie asked. "Yeah, I'm starving!" Christy told her. They decided just to go to mcdonalds. They had to do some school shopping, so they went around to all the stores. By the time the got home it was 4:00. Aunt Bessy started dinner while Christy got all her school things organized. When they were done eating dinner they got a phone call from Christy's dad. "Hi sweetie! I miss you so much!" He told Christy. "I miss you too daddy!" She said. It was the first time she talked to him since he entered rehab. "I'm going to be in rehab for at least another month. I know Aunt Bessy's house isn't quite home, and I put a lot of thought into this. . . If you want you are welcome to stay at the house. You would be by yourself, but it is up to you." He told her. "Thanks dad." She said. "I'll stay at the house, but if I get lonely, I'll come stay with Aunt Bessy, okay?" She told him. "Okay Angel." He said. "Hey, daddy? Can I come see you?" She asked him. "I want to see you really bad, but I think it would be better to wait a little while, okay sweetheart?" He told her. "Okay." Christy was trying not to cry. "Is Aunt Bessy there?" He asked. "Yeah. . . Bye." She said, handing over the phone before her dad heard her cry. She took a couple deep breaths to steady herself. Aunt Bessy hung up a few minutes later. "You okay hon?" She asked. "Yeah. I'm fine." Christy told her. They decided to watch a movie.
"How about something funny?" She asked.
"That sounds good." Christy smiled.
"Go ahead and choose something." She told her.
Christy started going through her movies.
"Not sure if you like 80's chick flicks." Aunt Bessy said giggling. "That's mostly what I've got."
"Oh, Sixteen Candles." Christy with a smile on her face. "This one is funny."
"One of my favorites." Aunt Bessy said as she sat down on the couch. Christy popped the movie into the VCR and pushed play. She sat down on the couch next to Aunt Bessy.
They had fun watching the movie together! It turns out they had a lot more in common than they both thought. When the movie was over they were both tired and decided to just go to bed. The next morning Christy woke up, and Aunt Bessy was still asleep, so she decided to make her breakfast.
She made scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. When Aunt Bessy got up, she went to the kitchen.
"Something smells delicious!" She said walking into the kitchen.
"I made you breakfast." Christy said smiling.
"Oh, sweetie! Thank you so much! It looks great!" She told her. She gave her a hug.
They ate and talked. Christy was really starting to enjoy her Aunt's company. After breakfast, Aunt Bessy had to go to her volunteer shift at the library. Christy had just sat down to watch some TV when her phone rang. "Hello?" She answered. "Oh, hi Jeff."
"Hey! Bungee jumping place called. Still feeling adventurous?" He asked. "HELL YA!" She said into the phone. "Pick you up in half an hour." He told her and hung up. She ran back to her room to find some clothes to wear. She found a wife-beater and put it over her sports bra. She put her some-what ratty jean shorts, that she could never seem to get rid of and then put on her gym shoes. She braided her hair, and went out front to wait for Jeff. He pulled up a little while later.
When they got to the place a very athletic man met them up front. "Hi, my name is Brian, and I will be assisting you today." He said. Brian went over all the safty positions, and went over the correct ways to fall with them. After about half an hour, he took them up to the tower. It was a pretty quick elevator ride up to the top. Once there, they walked out onto a platform that stuck out about 50ft from the tower. "So, you two are going together, right?" He asked. "Yeah." Jeff said. Brian started putting on their harnesses and Christy was shaking. "You okay? You can back out anytime." He said. "Yeah, I'm okay." She said. "You sound nervous!" Jeff told her. "Well, I AM! But I want to do it." She said, excitedly. Brian harnessed them togehter, and started hooking up the bungee cord. "Okay, you both remember the right way to do this, don't you?" He asked. Jeff and Christy both gave him a thumbs up sign. "Okay. Chris." Brian said. Another guy came out to double check everything and make sure it was secure. "Good." Chris said, and walked back to the tower. Brian took a couple of steps back. "Okay. You can go when ever you are ready." He told them. Christy and Jeff scooted out to the edge. "Scared?" Jeff asked. "Yes." Christy told him. She looked down, and couldn't believe how high up they were! She could see Jeffs car in the parking lot, and it seemed so tiny. When she looked out, she could see the edge of the city a few miles away. "Ready when you are." He said. "Okay. One." She started. "Two." Jeff said. "THREE!" They both shouted, and jumped off.
It was crazy! The feeling I got in my stomach was insane! It was so cool! Brian helped me get the harness and everything off. He sure didn't care where his hands were going while in the process of helping! Jeff just stared like he was wondering what the hell this guy was doing! "All done." Brian said smiling.
"Thank you." Christy told him. Jeff put his arm around her and started walking away. "What the hell was that?" He asked her.
Christy laughed. "He was just unhooking everything."
"And molesting you at the same time." Jeff said laughing.
He dropped her back off at her Aunts and she went to her room. She still had a huge smile on her face. She had so much fun! She wanted to do it again!
She got a call from Adria a little while later. "Hey!" Adria said. "I heard about bungee jumping! Was it fun?" she asked. "It was a blast!" I told her. "I have to do it sometime! Well, School is starting up again, so we are throwing one last party tonight to kind of end the summer. Coming?" She asked. "SURE!" Christy told her. "Awsome! It isn't at our place, it is at a freind of Drew's house. We'll pick you up, okay?" Adria said. "Deal." Christy replied back. She hung up and took a nap before the party. Aunt Bessy came home and woke her up. Christy told her about the party, and asked if it would be okay if she just stayed there. Oddly, Aunt Bessy agreed. Christy took a shower, and got ready.
Christy was mad, but she decided she wouldn't let it ruin her night. After all as far as she was concerend Jeff was still just her friend. All he was doing was making himself stay just her freind. Adria and Christy rolled down the windows and blasted their music. The were excited to have one last big party before school started. When they go there the guys were just getting out of the car. There was a lot of people there. They walked up to the door and just let themselves in. The house was packed! Christy and Adria made their way to the kitche first for some beer. Jeff and Drew walked off somewhere. Two pretty cute guys, about the same age as Christy and Adria, came up and started talking to them.
"Hey." One said. "I'm Ben. This is Kort."
We both smiled at them. "I'm Adria and this is Christy."
Christy smiled.
"What school do you go to?" Ben asked.
"All Saints." Adria answered.
"Oh, really? We go to Bangor Academy. . . right accross the street." Kort said surprised.
"There aren't THAT many schools in Penobscot County." Adria said giggling.
"That's true." Ben said. We all laughed.
"Sometimes we stand by the fence and watch the boys play basketball and stuff." Adria said laughing.
The guys laughed. "I see." Kort said.
"You know Richie Del Rae?" Adria asked.
"Yeah. Who doesn't?" Ben said.
"She use to date him." Adria said pointing at Christy.
Christy nudged Adria with her elbow. "Shut up." Christy said smiling.
Ben got a big smile on his face. He did tell everyone, she thought. Drew and Jeff came walking out, and Adria ran over to drew. "Nice meeting you two!" She said. Christy was irritated. She didn't want to be stuck here talking to these guys, and now she was thinking about Richie again. Kort walked off to talk to another girl, and Ben just stood there. She finally caught Jeff's eye, and he came walking over. "Oh, this is my friend Jeff." Christy said. Ben took the hint, and said. "Nice to meet you. See you around Christy." He walked over to Kort. "That was a little weird." Christy said to Jeff. "What?" He asked. He knows Richie. Aparently Richie as told EVERYONE we were. . .um. . . together." She told him. "Great!" Jeff said. He put his arm around her. "Oh, is that okay?" He asked. "Sure." She said.

Christy went outside with him. He led her to a bunch of guys sitting around. Some guy was sniffing something. They sat down on a chair together. Everyone was sitting in a big circle. "Whip Its." A guy said. Christy watched him do it and they passed it around. When it came to Christy, she declined the offer. "Get up a second." Jeff told her. She stood up and he did one. She watched him. He got a huge smile on his face and just leaned back in the chair. A guy pulled out a pipe. "Anybody?" He asked holding it up.
"Me." Christy said. She was getting into a bad mood, and just wanted to have fun. "Okay, one for the lady." He said, lighting it up. Christy got the first hit. She coughed. "It's been a while." She said laughing. She took another big hit and gave it back to the guy. Christy went back and sat in Jeff's lap again. He put his arms around her, and kept feeling her arms, and running his hands through her hair. Christy rememberd Adria telling her that they had gotten some E. The pipe came around again, and she took another hit. This time she held it in for a very long time. "We've got a PRO here!" The guy next to her shouted. It made her laugh, finally forcing her to exhale. She passed it on. "Hey, what are you doing?" Jeff asked. "Having fun." She said, and put her head on his shoulder.
Adria walked out. "Let's go!" She shouted. Her eyes were all red and puffy. It looked like she had been crying. "Are you okay?" Jeff asked.
"Drew's a fucking asshole. I want to go!" She yelled.
Christy looked at her. "Can we hang out a little longer?"
She started crying. "No, please."
Christy stood up and then Jeff did.
"What did he do?" Jeff asked her.
She took a deep breath. Christy put her arm around her.
"I walked into his room and he was fucking some other girl." She said sobbing.
"I'm so sorry." Christy said. Ben walked up.
"Is everything okay?" He asked her.
"I just wanna go home." Adria told him.
"I can take you guys home." Ben said.
"Who the fuck are you?" Jeff asked him.
"Uh, you met him earlier." Christy told him.
"Oh yeah." Jeff said. "But we don't know this guy. He's not taking you anywhere."
Ben got a strange look on his face.
"Thank you, Ben." Christy said.
"See ya, Jeff." She waved. They followed Ben inside.
"My car is here." Adria told him.
"Got it covered." Ben said. Kort walked up to them. "Kort can follow us in your car."
"Okay." Adria said.
They all went ouside. Ben helped Adria and Christy into his car. They were both a little out of it. They had no idea what eachother were on, but they could both tell they were on something. Adria handed her keys to Kort. Christy had them drop her off at her house. The guys made sure they were okay and left. They sat down on the couch. Adria started crying again. "I thought he was a good guy." She said.
Christy didn't know what to say. Adria had cheated on Drew before, so she wasn't exactly sure how to handle it. "Come here hon." She said, putting her arm around Adria." "I guess I deserve it!" She sobbed. "No, don't say that. No one deserves that!" Christy told her. She just let Adria cry for a little while. "Did you take anything tonight?" Adria asked her. "Yeah, just pot." Christy told her. Adria started laughing. "What?" Christy asked. "I took something too, but I don't remember what." Adria replied, laughing. They both started laughing. "Let's watch a movie." Adria said, and they put in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. They laughed the whole way through! When the movie was over, Adria wanted to go to bed. Christy wasn't tired yet, so she let Adria sleep in her bed, and just curled up on the couch. She was watching and old black and white movie when she heard a knock on the door. She looked outside and Jeff was there. She opened the door. "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked. "Is Adria okay?" I heard what happened, he said. "She is doing okay, considering." Christy told him. "How did you get here anyway?" She asked him. "To be honest, I don't entirely remember!" He told her. She rolled her eyes. "Come in. You can sleep on the couch." She said. Jeff sat on the couch, and Christy laid down on the love seat continuing to watch her movie.
"What the fuck are you watching?" He asked her.
"I'm not sure." She said. "Marilyn Monroe is in it though." When a commercial came on, it said what movie it was. It was Some Like It Hot.
"It's Some Like It Hot." She told him.
"I saw." He said.
"Okay. . ." She said.
"Black and white movies suck."
"No they don't." She mumbled. "There are some really good ones."
She realized she kept dosing off a while later, so she went to her room. She grabbed a pillow and a blanket and layed down on her windowsill. It was just big enough for her to fit in it.
She woke up the next morning and Adria was still asleep. Jeff was gone though. She was glad too. He had irritated her the night before. Christy got in the shower, and got dressed. She woke up Christy and convinced her to go to the mall. They thought it would be fun to hang out again before school started. Adria drove. The mall was packed! They weren't the only ones with that idea. They shopped, and bought some cute clothes. Christy pulled out her wallet to pay at one of the stores, and a piece of paper fell out. "What is that?" She asked, picking it up. "It is Ben's number!" She said. "I don't even remember him giving it to me!" She said. Adria took it from her. "We are so calling him, and making him and is friend come hang out with us." she said. Christy paid, and they went outside so Adria could call the number.
Ben answered. "Hi."
"Hi, it's Adria. From the party." She said.
"Oh hi. How are you guys feeling?" He asked.
"We're feeling good. We're at Bangor Mall." She told him. "Would you and Kort like to meet up for a movie or something?"
"Sure!" He said. He sounded excited.
"Awesome!" She said. "Call me when you're here and we'll check out the movie times."

Ben and Kort called about twenty minutes later. Christy and Adria met them at the movie theatre. They weren't entirly sure what to see, so they decided just to see something funny. Christy hit it off with Brent right away. He was really sweet, and paid for her ticket and drink. Adria and Kort got along well too. They went into the movie and started goofing off while waiting for it to start.
Brent threw a peice of popcorn and it hit the lady in front of them. He quickly put his popcorn on the floor in front of him and they all looked away. She turned around and glared at them. They all tried not to laugh.

She turned back around and Christy lost it! "Shhhh!!" Ben, Kort, and Adria, all turned to her and said at the same time. Making her laugh even harder. The theater filled fast, and the movie started. It was so funny, and they all kept goofing off that an usher came in. "Excuse me." He whispered. "You four are going to have to leave." He said. "Why?" Ben asked. "You are making too much noise." The usher told him. "It's a comedy, we're laughing!" Kort said. "Well, I'm sorry, but there have been complaints. Come with me please." He said. "Just go." I said, and we got our stuff and walked out with the usher. Security escorted us outside. "Well that was a first!" Adria said. "Now what?" Kort asked. "We can hang out at my house if you want." Christy suggested. "Okay. We'll follow you there." Ben said.
We went to Christy's and started watching the movie, The Outsiders. Ben had it in his car and insisted that the girls had to see it. So, they agreed to watch it with him. Ben scooted closer to Christy on the couch and put his arm around her. She looked over and Adria had already fallen asleep on the recliner.
She glanced at Kort who was on the other end of the couch and he was asleep too. Christy giggled. "What?" Ben asked her. "Our friends have so much in common." She whispered, pointing at them. They finished watching the rest of the movie, and decided to go hang out and talk for a little bit before they woke up Kort and Adria.
"Did you like the movie?" Ben asked her.
"Yeah, I did." She replied smiling. "It made me cry though!" She pushed him lightly on the shoulder.
"Then you know it was a good movie." He said.
"Did it make you cry?" She asked him.
"No. It did the first time though. Movies don't ussually get me more than once." He told her.
"Hey, do you wanna go outside or to my room or something? I dont want to wake these guys up. They look peaceful!" Christy said. "Sure!" was all ben said. She just went back to her room and put some music on. She left the door open so Adria and Kort could come back if they woke up. "I love Goldfinger!" Ben said, when Christy put them on. "Yeah, me too!" She told him. "So you're not with Richie anymore?" Ben asked. "No, I'm not. I'd rather not talk about it!" she told him. "Sorry!" He apologised. "No, its okay. So what do you do for fun?" she asked him.
"I go snowboarding a lot in the winter time. In the summer, I ussually go skateboarding." He told her.
"That's cool." She said smiling. "I've never tried skateboarding or snowboarding."
"We should all go out some time. Got to the skate park or something." He suggested.
"Yeah, that would be fun." She said getting excited.
"Want to go today? It is the last day of summer." He asked. "Yeah! that would be great!" Christy shouted. "Lets wake up the sleepy heads!" She told him. "Can I kiss you frist?" He asked her, sheepishly. "Um, maybe once we know eachother a little better." She said. They both got up to wake up Adria and Kort.
They woke them up and headed to the skate park. The girls got soda's and sat down behind the fence and watched them skate. They had a lot of fun watching them. They were pretty good too! Ben fell once, but not too bad. He got up embarassed and they girls waved. He got nervous when he noticed they saw him fall. When they were done it was dark out.
"Drive in?" Ben suggested as they walked up.
"Never been!" Adria said. "Sounds like fun!"
The went to the drive though and original Dawn of the Dead was playing. Ben and Kort went to buy some drinks for them. "Oh my gosh!" Adria said to Christy. "Kort is so cute! And he is totaly interested!" She exclaimed. "That is awesome! Ben asked to kiss me!" Christy told Adria. "NO way! Did you?" She asked. "NO! We just met. . . Maybe later." She said, laughing. They guys came back a few minutes later. "Talking about us?" Ben asked getting in. "NO!" Christy and Adria both said at the same time. "Really? Sounds like you were to me!" Kort said.
Kort got in and sat next to Christy. Ben sat next to Adria. That confused the girls. They looked at eachother and giggled. The movie started. Kort put his arm around Christy and pulled her closer to him. Adria looked over and Christy had a confused look on her face. Adria leaned in closer to Ben. He just looked at her and smiled.
Kort tried to grab Christy's hand, but she pulled it away. "Are you okay?" Kort asked. "Um, just slightly confused." Christy said.
"We thought it would be fun if, you know. We kind of all hooked up." Kort said. "WHAT?" Christy shouted. "I don't think so!" She said. "Why not? It would be fun!" Ben said. "Can you take me home please." Christy said. "What do you say Adria?" Kort asked, turning his head to look at her. "Well. . ." She said. "ADRIA!" Christy shouted. Christy got out and slammed the door. The windows where down. "Adria, i'm going home. Are you coming??" She asked. "No, I'm kind of having fun." Adria told her. "I don't believe this!" Christy shouted. She walked out of the drive in, and sat out front. She pulled out her phone to call someone for a ride. She scrolled through and found Richies name. She hadn't deleted it yet. She almost called him, but kept scrolling through. She stopped at Jeffs name and couldn't decide who to call. She really wanted to see Jeff, but she had been thinking of Richie a lot too. She decided just to call Jeff. "Hello?" He answered. "Hi, its Christy." She told him.
"Oh. . ." He said.
"How are you?" Christy asked. She looked up and Adria was running up to her. Christy hung up the phone.
"Chris, come on!" She said. "You always talk about wanting to do things crazy together."
"Yeah, I know." Christy said.
"So, here is our chance!" Adria said.
Christy looked at her smiling.
"Please!" Adria begged.
Christy stood up. "This is crazy!"
"I love you!" Adria said jumping up and down.
"Yeah, yeah." Christy said jokingly.
Christy sighed, and got up and walked back with Adria. This time Ben was back up front, and Kort was in the back with Adria. "Sorry. We didn't mean to freak you out." Ben said. "It is okay. I'm fine now." Christy told them. She let Ben hold her hand, and could hear Adria and Kort making out in the back. The movie was actually a little scary, and Christy kept jumping. When it was over, they decided to go back to Christy's house and hang out. Well, Christy and Ben decided. Kort and Adria where a little busy kissing in the backseat.
Adria poked her head up. "So, everyones in?" She asked.
Ben and Kort said yes right away. They all looked at Christy.
"I guess I'm in!" She told them.
When they got to the house, they all sat down on the couch. Ben started kissing Christy. She was surprised that he was such a good kisser.
"You're a good kisser." She whispered to him. "You are too." He said smiling. They kissed for a while, and Christy looked over at Kort and Adria. They were already getting undressed. "Whoa! slow down!" Ben said. He got up and walked over to Christy. Kort scooted over and climbed on top of her. Ben was a much better kisser! She thought to herself.
Christy and Kort made out for a long time until he finally took her shirt off. "You are so pretty." He whispered to her. Christy looked over. "Oh my." She said out loud. Ben and Adria were having sex. Kort looked over. "Whoa!" He said. He kept staring at them. Christy put her arms around Kort and pulled him close to her.
After that it was no time until they were both undressed. "Ready?" He whispered into Christy's ear. "YES!" She shouted. They started having sex.
Ben and Adria rolled over really close to Christy and Kort.
Ben started kissing my neck. Adria giggled.
That caused Christy to giggle. "You two need to kiss." Kort said. Adria put her head by Christy's and started to kiss her. Christy pulled away. "I can't." She said. "It is too weird." "You don't have too." Ben said. He climbed off Adria, and pulled Kort off of Christy. Kort went over to Adria. Ben sat down on the couch, and pulled Christy on top of him. They had sex, and Christy thought that Ben was better at that too! For the first time ever she couldn't help but make a lot of noise. They finished up like that.
Christy quickly grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom. She sat down on the toilet and died laughing. She couldn't beleive what she had just done! She didn't know why she found it so funny, but she couldn't stop laughing.
"Are you okay?" She heard somone ask, knocking on the door. "Yeah, be right out!" She yelled. She got dressed and opened the door. It was Ben. "I'm tired, I'm going to sleep." She said. "Can I sleep with you?" Ben asked. "Uh, I guess, sure." She told him, and they went back to her room. She changed into a tanktop, and they climbed into bed. "So, was that fun?" Ben asked. "Yeah, it was actually." Christy said laughing again. "What?" He asked. "I just can't believe I did that!" She said. "You were really good." He told her. "Thanks." She said, smiling. They fell asleep shortly after.
In the morning when Christy woke up, Ben was gone. She went out to the kitchen. No sign of Adria either. She took a nice long shower and kept thinking about the night before. When she got out of the shower, she layed down on her bed. She got dressed a few minutes later and started going through her clothes to make sure she had enough clean stuff for school.
She got a phonecall from Jeff a few minutes later. "Is everything okay?" He asked her. "Yeah, Sorry about that. Everything worked out." She told him. "Just making sure." He said. "So what did you did you do last night?" He asked. Christy started laughing. "What?" He asked again. "Um. Christy was bad, and that is all I'm telling you." She said, still laughing. "What? Now I want to know." He said. "Too bad!" She told him.
"Come on, you can tell me." He said.
"No!"
"Yes."
"Nope!!" She shouted.
"Please?"
"I said no!" She laughed.
"Hey, you want to come over, hang out?" He asked. "Hmmm. . . I don't know. . . " She said teasing. "Please?" He begged her. "Okay, I'll come over!" Christy said laughing. She checked to make sure all her school things were in order and then walked over to Jeff's. When she got there he was outside smoking. "Hey! You came!" He said, and Christy just laughed. "Come on in! Drew has work today." He said leading her up the stairs.
"Okay." She said. She followed him up to the apartment. They watched some tv and she decided to go back home. Aunt Bessy stopped by to make sure she had everything she needed for school. She brought over a pizza too! They sat at the kitchen table eating and talking.
It was starting to get late, so Aunt Bessy took off. Christy decided to have a nice night to herslef and took a long hot bath. She put on her huge comfy pajamas and watched 50 first dates. She was tired and fell asleep right there on the couch.
The next morning, Christy and Adria went shopping for a few last minute things for school. Afterwards, they went roller blading and swimming at the public park. They were hoping to get some sun!
They decided to call it an early night since school was starting the next day. Adria was going to pick up Christy before school. The next day seemed to come way to fast for both of them! Adria was running late as usual, and pulled into Christy's driveway honking. Christy grabbed her backpack and ran out to the car. "Ready for one more year?" Adria asked as Christy climbed in. "Hell yeah!" Christy said laughing. They drove to school and parked. When they got out Christy saw Richie. He was dropping off Shepard Stanton. Christy's heart sank. "Of all the girls, why her?" She said out loud. "What?" Adria asked looking up. Christy pointed at Richie and Shepard Kissing. They watched Richie drive off. "Oh my god! He did WAY better with you hon!" Adria said, and they walked inside.
Everybody in school was excited to be back. Adria and Christy weren't as excited as everyone else. They both had gym class first period with Sister Bridget. They walked into the locker rooms. Shepard was standing there in her bra and underwear talking on her cell phone. She pointed to a table as we walked in. The table had all of our uniforms on it. Adria and Christy dug through the clothes to find their sizes. They found them and went to the bathrooms to change.
"Oh god, I don't want to see her!" Christy said. "Me either! Don't worry, you'll find someone better than Richie!" Adria said. "We'll both find someone better!" Christy replied. They laughed and went to gym class. It was field Hockey, which they both loved. They were really good at it, and they liked getting to knock over the girly girls. Shepard was on both of their target lists. At one point Christy and Shepard were both after the puck so Christy plowed into her, knocking her over. She started crying, but Christy ignored her and kept going, making the goal.

"You brat!" Gretchen said to Christy.
Christy just rolled her eyes. "Calm down, this isn't the Olympics." Sister Bridget said. "Take the bench." She told Chirsty. Christy sat down on the bench. Adria smiled at her from the far end of the field. Christy watched them all play for a few minutes until Sister Bridget told them all to hit the showers.

The bell rang for the next class and the walked together. Gretchin and Shepard kept giving them dirty looks. Christy couldn't help but smirk the whole time. Adria and Christy had seperate classes until lunch, so they split up. Christy's next classes where pretty boring! All she wanted to do was go home! At lunch she met up with Adria and they both decided that since it was the first day, nothing exciting was going on, so they should just ditch and go to the skate park. They wanted to check out some cute guys. They snuck out to the parking lot, and drove off without anyone spotting them! The got to the skate park 'fixed' their uniforms, so they looked hotter, and sat down on the benches to watch. There were actually quite a few people there! A lot of guy's their age, who should have been in school too. In Christy and Adria's minds though, that just made them hotter. One guy was on the ramp, and looked over at them. He wasn't paying attention, and fell, slamming hard onto the ramp. "OOO! Are you okay?" Christy and Adria both shouted. They guy looked completly embarassed, and just stood up and waved at them, blushing. "I've spilled worse!" He shouted back, and started skating again.
They started to get really hot, so they decided to head back to school for their last class. Choir was hard to ditch anyway without getting caught. Sister Natalie figured EVERYTHING out! They raced to class. They quickly readjusted their clothes so it they looked right and threw on their button up shirts before they walked into the class.
"You are late!" Sister Natalie shouted. "Sit!" She said pointing at a bench next to her podium. They sat down. "Angels We Have Heard On High." She told them. "Page twelve." Everyone flipped through the pages in their books. Sister Natalie listened until she heard no pages being flipped. "Stand." She told Christy and Adria pointing at the floor next to her. "Christine, Solo One. Adrianna, Solo Two." She said.
"Sister I can't sing." Adria whispered to her.
"Everyone can sing. Maybe not well, but they can sing." She said. She sat down in front of her piano and started to play.
Christy was okay, but poor Adria was horrible. Christy felt bad, so she sang horrible on purpose. Then the two girls started goofing off, and singing even worse! Sister Natalie got angry and sent them to the office. They went laughing the whole way. "Come in." The Dean of the school said when they got to his office. "Have a seat." They sat down and handed Mr. Johnson the note from Sister Natalie. "Goofing off in class?" He asked them. "Sorry." They both said at the same time. Mr. Johnson had a horrible tiny mustache that they hated, so they were trying very hard not to laugh at him. "Well, I'm glad you are both sorry. Since this is the first day of school, I'm not going to give you detention. I am however going to write you up." He told them. "Yes sir." Christy said. "I think it would be better for the two of you to sit in the front office for the last 30 minutes of school." He told them. "Yes sir!" Adria said, saluting him on their way out. The got out in the loby and started laughing. The day was finally over and they decided to go walk around the park. They used to hang out with Drew and Jeff after school, but now they didn't have anything to do.
They sat down on the swings and talked for a little while. When they got bored, Adria took Christy home. "See you tomorrow!" Adria shouted as she drove away. As she was unlocking the door, she heard someone walking up. She turned around quickly. It was Richie. "Oh, hi." She said. "You startled me."
"Christy, I still love you." He said.
"What?" She asked. She turned around and opened the door.
"I do." He said.
"Why were you all up on Shepard this morning?" She asked.
"I started dating her a week ago. I don't like her though. She's kind of a. . . well, a bitch." He said. Christy laughed.
"We didn't even kiss or anything. I promise." He said.
"So you two aren't dating anymore?" She asked him. "No. I broke it off with her this afternoon. I can't stand her!" He said. Christy just laughed. "You can come in if you want." She told him. "How was your first day back?" He asked her. She told him about tripping shepard, and choir practice. Richie laughed at everything. "Wow! Sounds like a great day back!" He said. "Yeah. Could have been worse!" Christy said laughing. They were in the living room on the couch. "So you still love me?" Christy asked. "Yeah." He said back. "I guess I do too. I almost called you the other night, but I thought you hated me." She confessed. "I don't hate you." He said smiling.
"Good." She told him. "Cause I havn't gotten over you yet. I tried to convince myself that I was, but I'm not."
He smiled at her and gave her a hug. They cuddled on the couch and she turned on the tv. I Love Lucy was on. They both kept laughing their heads off.
"So, where are we?" Christy asked Richie. "What do you mean?" He asked her. "Are we just friends, or what?" She asked him. "I think we should start over. What do you say I pick you up from school tomorrow, and we hang out?" He asked her. "I like that idea!" She said, and smiled at him. He kissed her.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too." She told him.
They hugged. She started crying. "I should have stayed with you in the first place. We are so perfect together. I can't beleive I messed it up so bad."
"Hey, hey." He said. "Everything is fine now."
She smiled and he wiped the tears off her face. He gave her a kiss. "You're amazing." He told her.
"So are you." She told him, smiling. He kissed her agian. "Can we go back to your room?" He asked her. "Yeah, I would like that." She told him. The walked back to her room holding hands. Christy layed down and let richie climb into her bed with her. "I'm gald your back. I missed you." He said to her.
"I missed you a lot." She told him. She kissed his neck. "You are so beautiful." He whispered.
She rolled over on top of him. She started kissing his neck and shoulders.
They had sex, and then just laid in bed together. Neither one of them wanted Richie to go. "I eventualy have to go home." He told her. "I know, I just don't want you too." Christy said. Richie kissed her on the forhead. He got up and they both got dressed. Christy walked him to the door and they kissed goodbye. "I'll pick you up tomorrow, okay?" He said. "I'll be waiting for you." Christy said, smiling. As soon as he left, Christy ran to the phone to call Adria.
"I am in love with Richie." Christy told her.
"What?!" Adria shouted.
"He came over today and told me he still loves me." Christy explained. "He doesn't like Shepard. She annoyed him. They didn't even kiss."
"That's crazy!" Adria said. "I'm so happy for you hon!" She said. "I'm so giddy, I can't stop thinking about him!" Christy said. They talked for a while before Christy decided she wanted to get to bed early. She wanted to actually try to make it a whole day through school! The next morning came, and Richie showed up right on time to pick her up. "You look so cute in your uniform." He told her when she climbed in the car.
She smiled at him.
"It would probably look better on my floor." He said.
Christy laughed.
"I can't pull off that kind of talk, can I?" He asked laughing.
"Nope. . ." She told him. "You aren't that kind of guy."
"But, it really would look nice on my floor." He said.
"Shut up." She said jokingly. She pinched him on the shoulder.
"I think it would look better on you." She said, trying to keep a straight face. Richie looked at her. "I'm just kidding!" She said laughing. When they got to school Christy said, "That ride isn't long enough!" "I know, I'll pick you up after school though." He said smiling. Richie got out, walked around the car, and opened Christy's door for her. "You are so sweet!" She told him, climibing out. They kissed goodbye, and then Richie left. Christy started walking inside, and saw Adria getting out of her car, so she walked over. On her way, she saw Shepard and Gretchin glaring at her. She just smiled at them, and walked over to Adria.
The rest of the day at school went by fast. When the final bell rang, Christy went running out to the front to wait for Richie. She couldn't wait to see him! When he pulled up, she ran to his car and got in.
"How was school?" She asked him.
"It was okay." He said. "My friend Kort yelled at the teacher. It was hysterical."
"Kort?" She asked.
"Yeah." He said.
"I hang out with him and Ben a lot." He said. "Why, do you know him?" He asked. "I think I might have met him once before. That is a weird name." Christy said. "Yeah, it is." Richie said. Christy didn't know what to say. She didn't want Richie to ever find out what she did! He had already put up with a lot from her. "You okay?" He asked her. "Yeah, I just um. Sorry, I'm tired." She told him. "You wanna go to the skate park with me?" He asked. "Sure." She said. When they got there Richie waved to a couple guys who were there. Christy looked up and it was Ben and Kort. She couldn't even look at them. They walked over to them. Ben shook their hands. "Hey, I'm gonna go change out of my uniform in the bathroom." Richie said, and walked away. "So how are you?" Ben aksed. When Christy looked up both Kort and Ben were smiling. "Can I talk to you for a second Ben?" She asked him. "Sure." He said. They walked over to the benches where no one was sitting. "Whats up?" He said still smirking. "Uh. . .You can't tell Richie what we all did." She told him. "Don't worry! I wouldn't dream of it! All he does is talk about you." Ben told her. "Thank god! I was so scared when he said how well he knew you and Kort!" She told him. "Don't worry about it. It was fun though, wasn't it?" He asked. Christy just smiled and walked back over to where Kort was standing. Richie came back a few minutes later in is regular clothes and with his skateboard in his hands.
